Friendly service with restaurant and homestyle menu items. Despite proximity to the convention center, it was not overly busy,... so we had a nice chat with our waiter. Everything was tasty. Worth a visit. Read more

Really good classic American Chinese. Handmaid egg rolls that are worth the trip. Don't pass up the sweet and sour pork, its... treasure. Excellent staff. Read more

Saw article in the Houston Chronicle that they were the best Chinese food in town, I disagree with that, but it was pretty good.... The egg rolls were very good, sweet and sour pork was fine, but I do not recommend the Shrimp Egg Fu Young, it was very bland. The wonton soup was very good, hot and sour soup was good. Seating was exceptionally comfortable. Read more

Favorite Chinese restaurant. Excellent service. The family traditions have been maintained. Carol is a super star. She greets... and engages all customers. I don't know how she remembers so many names. The staff has been there literally decades. They knowthe menu well, and customers too .The food is delicious. We have not been disappointed by anything we've tried. Everyone webring has enjoyed it and plans to return. BEST eggrolls. It's like visiting an old friend and eating momma's cooking. Definitelyrecommend. We went, again, tonight and it remains our favorite. We continue to try new, to us, items from the menu and remainextremely pleased with every selection. Congratulations on your write up by the Houston Chronicle. Read more

Hostess was very friendly and inviting. Fresh tea was prepared and all dishes were fresh and delicious. Restaurant was clean... and well lit. Not too crowded and food was quick to come out after ordering. Read more

Don't get the Mongolian beef, it's more like a stew with really sickeningly sweet gravy. The egg roll was okay but honestly not... much better than some premade ones I've had. Read more

I had shrimp dumplings. Oh my gosh these were the best shrimp dumplings ever. With a side of hot chili oil and fresh... garlic! Wash it down with unsweet tea with some lemon. Followed by green pepper steak which was absolutely delicious when eatenwith fried rice. No dessert because I was already full. Read more

It's no wonder this place has been open and successful for so long! What a great meal! Look no further for amazing Cantonese... food with wonderful, personalized service. This is a small, family owned and operated place and it shows. These folks are sofriendly! They remember your name and treat you like part of the family. They cook for you that way as well! We tried a bit ofeverything and let me tell you, it was all delicious. The egg rolls were huge, hot, crispy, and so good!!! The Hunan beef waslight, crunchy, and full of sweet orange flavor. It was probably our favorite out of everything we tried, but let me tell you,it was all phenomenal. We will definitely be back several times! Read more
