Today Sunday 10-9-22 at 11:30 am they still close is understandable that everyone has to fix their problems for better customers... satisfaction, but one lady opens the door we get in , later one employee came out and kick us out. That's wrong we can stay inmaking a line , but he insists in kick us back out, that's rude and wrong. Read more

This place looks really nice it was my first time here. There was a line when we got there but they were seating people quickly... we didn?t even wait 10 mins. The food was just ok in my opinion I love egg rolls but those didn?t taste that good the sushieither. The food would be cold once you got to the table. The rice was good and the teriyaki chicken as well. I absolutely lovedthe hot and sour soup! Read more

The decor is neat from a far, but up close it has aged and not been well maintained. Food was average to bad. A lot of food... taste like it was reheated from day before. I had tried it before because the location in Sugarland was awesome, butdisappointed but gave it another try, but it is actually worse than before. Read more

I rarely write reviews, but I feel inclined when an experience is really good or really bad. But where to begin with China Bear?... I had been to this restaurant regularly when I lived in the area some years ago and the service and food were exceptional. Myhow times have changed this place. Walked in with my family of 5. The hostess didn?t greet us, yet stared at us and waited forus to initiate a conversation. When I asked for a booth (my husband is disabled and needed one) we were denied because thosewere for parties of 4 (even though my youngest child uses a high chair). I asked if she could sit us somewhere out of a crowdedsection (even just the back of a section that was already seated). She refused to sit us there, instead she sat us at a table inthe middle of several crowded tables (conveniently next to a table of children all who had tablets on max volume and werescreaming and running around) and then I watched her sit a party where I asked to be seated. The food was subpar at best.Several other customers and their children were shoving people out of the way to get to the food. Barbaric. The restaurant wallsare falling apart from what seems to be water damage. Mold was noticeable from across the room. Our waiter was friendly andattentive, and for that reason alone I?ve given two stars. The music. My God. At first I didn?t notice it until I went to thebathroom where it was also playing. Who is running the radio?! They were playing ?Way 2 Sexy? by Drake. I get it, it?s Houston. But this is a family friendly establishment?? To keep the momentum of this review; I had asked another employee a question andwas completely ignored. He never looked up at me or answered my question. I thought ?maybe he doesn?t speak English?. Only forhim to turn and start speaking with another employee in perfect English. My family was there maybe 30 minutes and we only had 1plate of food. No one wanted to go back to the buffet to risk being shoved and stepped on again. We sp Read more

The price is right. You have variety of food to choose from. You won't leave hungry that's for sure. There's something for... everyone. Quite a bizarre restaurant, Asian-Mexican style food. You'll be listening to Spanish music while you eat. Very niceentry, antique shop has unique things reasonably priced as well. Read more

For the price of this buffet it?s a decent value. There certainly are a lot of items to choose from. The downfall of that is... that everything is pretty average rather than less items all being excellent. It was exactly what I would expect from a $15buffet. It?s a novel experience. If we go back it will be share the unique gift shop and koi pond experience. Read more

A majority of the food is pretty good. They have part of the food section completely closed. There was a line this time in which... the rude people who come here try to jump in front of people. People let their kids dart across the building through peoplecarrying heaping plates of crayfish, which was the only disgusting thing. The plum wine was ok,, very sweet with almost amedicine taste. The staff was pretty good when they were around. Will never come back on a Sunday after church and will behesitant to return any time mainly because if the rude people who come here and have no respect for the other diners. Read more

The last time I visited this restaurant was about 15 years ago. While the variety of dishes and the atmosphere hadn't changed... much, the taste was a little less delicious. A little more salty; some of the hot dishes were a little cold too. The populationof the koi fish has grown quite a bit. The pond looks a little overcrowded. Read more
