We came to this location because the one on dairy Ashford is apparently closed down? I guess but we order our food and we hear... the guy telling his coworkers to make it over the intercom and we think everything is good. We get our total and go to thewindow and hand the guy our card just to get told "oh we are only accepting cash because our reader is down" like why is thatnot something you tell people before they order. ??????????? This place it?s a totally disaster. I went there on Saturday, there where two guys and a kid, they took my order didn?t get a... receipt. We wait for a order over 40 minutes, went down and ask for our strawberry shortcake sundae and they said the machinedidn?t working and waiting for service. They give my order cold my loaded potatoes where all cold and greasy taste terrible , myburger where all cold, This place doesn?t deserve a star, People that came after us where treated better that we they give themice cream and there order was given faster? I would never go again at that place. I truly don?t recommend this place. If youwant a hot burguer and a hot fries don?t go there!!!!!!! Read more

Mess up order 3 time and didn't give receipt. Order tender, fries, burger. Only got tender. My husband had to go inside and... correct it. They gave the other stuff but still end up with missing fries. Had to wait again. Got 2 medium fries when we ordermedium and a large. Gave up and went home. Got home and missing tenders. Order 8 only got 6. Worst part was the tender was raw.I have picture of it too. Bread of the burger taste old. Read more

Totally underrated. Houston's best kept secret when it comes to burgers. Better than In-n'-Out, better than Whataburger! The... secret is the buns! The frys are unique! Friendly service, no wait. Read more

It was my first time eating at any checkers. This one on beechnut is ok. My chicken sandwich was small and smashed down. I did... order some other things but the food wasn?t that great. It?s ok and nothing exceptional about it. I did however, while lookingat the menu, an employee there helped me get a small menu they had on the side. I didn?t see it but she noticed I had issueslooking up and trying to read the small print at the top of the registers. So far she was the employee that seemed to care abouther customers. I don?t know if she was a manager, but she looked like she was cuz her uniform was a different style. At theregister when I was ready to order, I waited quite a while because the cashier was too busy talking and looking at her phonenext to the guy putting together the food. Her names is Salinthia, and she seen me waiting on her but she was too busy doing herown thing. She either didn?t care that the bosses were at a table in the corner discussing something with the female employeebecause she was out of eyes view or she just showed up to work to just get her ours in and get paid. She didn?t even greet meshe just asked me what I wanted to order. I don?t know if Salinthia was having a bad day or it was almost time for her to gohome. I might come back or maybe not. I wish I caught the name of the employee that went out of her way to help me so I can givea better review for her. The place is clean and fairly organized. Can?t complain about that. I did however like the fries andthe loaded milkshakes. Read more

Staff was very friendly, they gave us two free drinks because we had to wait long. Try the boneless chicken wings there, they... taste really good. Update: My wife and her mom went there yesterday for lunch. They had a very unpleasant experience there. When they walked up to the counter, there was only one woman behind the counter taking drive-thru orders and on the phone forwhat seemed like 10 mins, totally ignoring them. There was a second woman making the orders. My wife says that it felt to herlike she was hoping they would just leave. No one even looked at them or tried to take their order. When she finally came overto take their order, she didn't say a word to them. She just stood there and stared at them. So my wife started ordering. That'swhen the employee turns to her mom and tries to speak to her in indistinguishable Spanish. She started speaking slowly andmaking hand gestures as though she was speaking to someone who is illiterate or a child who doesn't understand. Neither one knewwhat she was saying at all. That's when my wife spoke up and said to her, I've been ordering in English so why do you feel likeyou need to speak to us in Spanish? We don't need translating because our first language is English! Then the woman says to mywife, "oh that's why she was looking at me funny.' {referring to my mother-in-law). She then proceeded to take their orderwithout once apologizing for having offended them. They wanted to dine-in but were given their order in a bag. They felt likethe employees couldn't wait to get rid of them. The only upside to this visit was when they were walking out they were toldthank you and have a nice day. That was it. Totally different from my experience a month ago. Neither of us will be returningto this location unless the staff is better trained to treat their customers with respect and not to make assumptions! Read more
