One of my favorite outdoor, dog-friendly spots. I have been here many times over the years and am taking that into consideration... with this rating. Atmosphere: Laid back, family, dog, and gathering friendly spot. Whether you're inside or outside it is verycomfortable. When the weather outside is pleasant this place gets really packed. (There are big fans on the patio, as well assome shaded areas.) Service: Order at the bar, grab your drinks, and have food delivered to your table. Bartenders are alwaysfriendly and on point moving things along quickly. Bus service also quick which matters outdoors for flies etc. Food:unfortunately this visit made me regret saying, as I have in the past, that there's nothing I have ordered here that I don'tlike. You can't go wrong with the Elotes, burgers, salads, or quesadillas, or wide variety of frozen or mixed drinks + craftbeer selection (most of the menu). This trip we ordered the classic ground beef nachos and the "nashville" hot chicken sandwichwith sweet potato fries. The best word to describe the nachos was "meh". Not great chips or particularly fresh toppings and theground beef tasted unseasoned. And, having recently gone on a hot chicken tour of Nashville, I can tell you this sandwich wasanything but Nashville hot chicken. I'd describe it as a spicy fried chicken sandwich with strong Tabasco overtones. Being insuch close proximity to Mico's hot chicken, I would rather get it from there... or in a perfect world these businesses wouldcollaborate to serve hot chicken excellence with the cedar creek digs. The food alone gets a 2.5 star based off of today'sexperience. I know other menu items are better. That's what I get for straying from the known good stuff which I rate higher. Read more

The food and drinks were delicious and refreshing! The atmosphere was nice. I went when it was hot, but there was a giant fan... that kept me cool. I would love to go back when the fall weather arrives. Definitely worth checking out. Read more

This is pretty sweet. It looks like you're not even in the city. Foods really good lots of options for drinks. Place looks like... they can sat about 450 people. There are quite a few flies though outside so we prepared to fight. They have a bridge in theback with the Creek and there's usually fish and turtles so that's kind of cool. They're open all day everyday so come get some!I included a photo showing 3 flies that paid the ultimate price for treading on my delicious food. ???? Read more

Cool spot, seating is 1st come 1st serve so be aware of that, we had a rather large (11) party and waited a tad, ended up... pushing 3 tables together so it worked. The food was good and the drinks weren't bad either, prices are really fair. You walkup and order your food and drinks which isn't bad either. Comfortable/ ranch vibe and friendly service. Read more

Cedar Creek Bar & Grill has limited parking. While you can park on the road, those were pretty filled. Despite cars everywhere,... when I arrived the place was only half packed. Eventually it became mostly filled. They have adequate seating and indoor andoutdoor seating. I only had the crawfish and churro balls. Both were good. While it isn't as good as the Asian crawfish, it'sstill tasty. You order the food at the bar. They have a full bar and frozen drinks. If parking wasn't such a pain, I'd go theremore often. They should add another dessert, right now they only have one option. Maybe they can do a brownie sundae, pie, orcookies. Read more

Very nice patio area with tons of shades from trees and table umbrella! 1 star is based off of the food I received . I saw... Nashville hot chicken and was a bit excited to try with my chicken and waffles. It was very disappointing to find out that whatI received wasn't Nashville hot chicken . It was just tenders tossed in buffalo sauce. If the kitchen can't fulfill theNashville hot chicken this needs to be taken down. Lessoned learned stick with the basic brunch items that can't be messed up. Read more

They offer an expansive outdoor patio seating area next to a creek, with plenty of tables for guests. The food looked and... tasted great. Ordered frozen drinks and they were ok, the mango mimosa definitely did not taste like mango. A good option ifthe weather is nice. Probably one of the best patio bars in Houston. Read more

Superb family atmosphere... very cozy set up all around. Whether you sit inside or out, the place is so inviting and romantic. A... small creek runs through the backyard that kids and grownups alike can spend some time looking at the small fish that make ittheir home there. The food is delicious the drinks are on par with other similar places. What makes this place one of ourfavorite, is the way it is setup, very rustic and cozy.. Favorite around Houston bar none!
