Can not say enough good things about this place ! Our first time here. Ambiance was amazing. Great music, super friendly... staff! Get the rum punch ! I was pleasantly surprised by the spicy vinegar base of the escovich fish. Hubby got the goat curryand said it was amazing (I love goats so I didn?t try it). Wish I found this place sooner! I loved it! I thought the plates came with plantains but they don?t so make sure you ask for it.... Rice/beans was ok but the chicken and ox tail was great! Definitely recommend. Read more
If you want some good Jamaican food then this is the place. Curry goat, chicken and shrimp, oxtails all served with rice and... peas, cabbage and plantain. One of the items that I love here is their patties. Full of seasoned beef w/ a flaky crust. Read more
Today was my first time coming here and I must say it was worth it! If you can not handle spicy, the jerk chicken is not for the... weak!! The chicken was moist and flavorful throughout. We grabbed the jerk chicken and the curry chicken with two beef Patties. The flavors are explosive. The spicy isn?t for... beginners. It grows and burns long after you?ve finished the meal. Not a complain in the least. The rice is wonderful and whensoaked in the curry is flavorful. Chicken falls off the bone. 100% a repeat. If you haven?t tried this place, do it. This was absolutely the best food I?ve had. I?ve been searching for some good home cooked oxtails and boom I found it. The... amount they serve you is plenty for 2 servings if only you can handle the taste being so good you HAVE to finish it. The BeefPatties I also recommend 1000% I could have it for any meal of the day and feel full and satisfied at the same time. We stopped in here today for an early dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it!!! This is by far one of the best... authentic Jamaican food restaurants we?ve ever been to! I had an order of delicious tender Oxtails which was loaded with meatwith peas and rice, cabbage, and plantains. There was so much food we couldn?t even finish the entrees. Hubby had very tasty andwell seasoned Caribbean Jerk Chicken with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains. Great tasting food, great customer service andunbeatable prices.
