This was first time here and it was a great service and a good vibe. The food was good and drinks were awesome and reasonable... priced. Nice bar pub feel with a little bit of a house feel. Most definitely will be back! Read more
We came here for some lunch snacks and drinks. Can't share the negative reviews. We had a nice table outside under a tree. The... waitress was pleasant and eager to assist. The food was great (we had avocado sandwiches, nachos, fries and frozen lemonades).Everything was served quickly and with a smile. Too bad we didn't get a chance to check it out during evening hours. Terrible service and they can?t get your order correct. It?s a great atmosphere and drinks are good, but plan on waving the wait... staff down because they are hanging at the bar visiting with each other. The Saturday afternoon manager was no where to be seenuntil I requested to meet with her. She wasn?t concerned with the staff?s lack of interest. My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant last night (Monday, July 18th) around 8:00pm for dinner and drinks and the bartender... made it very clear that she did not enjoy serving African American customers. When we arrived the hostess was very kind andtold us we could sit anywhere we liked so we selected to sit at the bar. When we sat down at the bar it was obvious thatanother customer had just left because the check was still in place and there was food and water on the bar. The bartender (BAR1919) came over to greet us a few minutes after sitting down and provided us with a menu and told us to let her know when wewere ready to order. She took the previous customers check but never wiped the bar down, welcomed us to the restaurant, or gaveus any information regarding the food or cocktail menus. She came back a few minutes later to take our drink orders and when myboyfriend attempted to select two beer options she told him they were out so he asked for some additional time to select anotherbeer. She took my order prepared it and brought it back but never followed up with him regarding his order. A young man walkedup to the bar, read the menu, ordered his drink, and paid and she never follow up with us. A woman walked up to the bar, satdown, ordered her drink/food, paid and we still did not follow up. She checked in on another customer that had been sitting atthe bar prior to our arrival and she made them another round of drinks and she still did not follow up. It was not until shesaw my boyfriend walk out and I grabbed my purse and put the card on the counter that she came over and ask if he had made adecision regarding his drink. I explained to her that he waited more than 15 minutes for her to come back and get his order andwe were leaving because of the poor service.
