I have driven by this place for years!!! I'm mad I hadn't stopped in sooner. After reading they had been voted best burger, I... finally gave it a try. I was disappointed. Definitely in my top 3!!! The meat to bun ratio was spot on. The patties weren't toothick or thin. Good flat top searing. I was impressed. The Mac n cheese and cakes were delicious too. OMG, this place is an hiden gem. The best old fashioned homemade burgers in houston. It's black owned so don't waste your money... somewhere else. Like whatabuger is a 3 star rating compared to Blake's. The other places are not even close. I definitelyrecommend you try there burgers. You will not be disappointed. Next, i will try the barbecue. Favorite BBQ joint in Houston besides my dad's back yard. Always greeted with a smile and good attitude, and the food is on... point.
