Love at first bite. I know it?s not the most appealing photo but it tasted so good I had to snap and devour. This is the best... black coffee I?ve had in the states. The take home beans make a great French press using the Hoffman (YouTube) method. I wentback for a piccolo and it didn?t disappoint. New favourite cafe for sure. Read more

I had a great cup of coffee, and the blacksmith plate with biscuit, avocado, eggs, potato and bacon. It was delicious! Cool... atmosphere too! Oh and free refills came with my breakfast so that was great. I would have like to stay longer. Read more

It was pretty good, I got an iced mocha and a biscuit with jelly and creme fraiche. Both were tasty, but it was so expensive.... Definitely a special occasion type of place, not one I would go to frequently. The staff was nice! Read more

Small Cafe shop, but don't let that stop you from trying it. Had the Black Smith Breakfast and it was damn good, as was the... service. Espresso coffee came on a small serving plater accompanied with a small glass of sparkling water....really cool... Indoor and Outdoor Dining is available, dedicated parking lot as well... A tad bit pricey but worth it.... Read more

Good coffee, really nice chai tea. I would rate the chai as my number second or third best in Houston. The croissant was nice... but a bit too flaky for me, if you like it flaky then this place is your jam. Speaking of, the jam and creme fresh were reallyrefreshing. I also got the smoked salmon and dill scramble. Light, flavorful, and filling. Plenty of outdoor seating and justenough indoor seating to make it feel not too congested. Staff is really nice and friendly and the service is very quick. Read more

The coffee was delicious, really great. The sandwich was rather petite, and not all that filling. Still not sure how I feel... about the pickled tomato slice, either. There is some work taking place but the canopy that is wrapped around the building issplit in half and just feels redundant. Read more

Nice little quiet coffee shop near the Washington Ave area. The mocha latte is amazing and the taste is superb! Honestly the... best mocha latte I had in a long time and it was very creamy and rich. I will definitely come back here for some study time inthe future. Read more
