Gumbo was thin, dirty rice was overcooked, gummy, and bland. The redfish and shrimp were wonderful. Service was good,... restaurant rather empty at 4pm. Several televisions if that's your thing. Attractive outdoor seating for those beautiful Houstondays. Read more
Service was good, but the food was nasty. Fish was not seasoned. Fries were super skinny and weird. Coleslaw was fresh but wasnt... sweet. Hush puppies were not sweet & garlic bread tasted weird, like it was saturated with unsalted butter. The photo is what Ileft there. Read more
The atmosphere brought you into the NOLA vibe, but the menu options were very standardized Cajun classics that have room for... elevation/improvement. I got the fried catfish which probably wasn't the best choice but still tasty and fairly priced. Thedrinks were decent. Overall, I hate to rate so low but there was no real wow factor from the food or service. I'm just a randomfoodie, but I'd even recommend decreasing the amount of po' boy and fried basket options, and adding some additional creolefavorites to the menu. Read more
Food was fantastic. On a spicier side though. Cocktail drinks from the bar weren't as large as I expected. Appetizer plate was... a tad small for 4 people, we tried fried pickle chips. They could have told us that since they knew it was our first time. I'dexpect more ranch at least. Main entrée size was fulfilling. Friendly service and very attentive. Wonderful inside interior, lots of fun sayings, pictures and such covering the wall top to... bottom. Queso and Chips were so good. Warm and ready to eat.
