Delicious bao, we enjoyed the Korean Bulgogi and Sweet heat chicken bao, along with dessert. The sauces were on point with... just enough heat to make them delicious and have a kick, but it didn?t set your mouth on fire. The staff was friendly andhelpful, the decor is eclectic and casual. We will definitely come back. Read more

Ambience and art is really nice! Loaded fries are top tier! The chicken used on the fries is the same as the chicken katsu on... the bao?s. Brussels sprouts are really flavorful and the bao?s were pretty good too. Read more

I hope this place becomes a HUGE success. Like these folks friendliness, helpfulness and attitude. The bulgogi was seasoned... really well. The fried dish was light and crispy like tempura. They were layered beautifully. My only criticism is we wish theBao was served hot, not cold. Brussels sprouts were charred perfectly and still tasted fresh and not cooked to death. Boba teawas good and comes either black or green. Pro tip?would go back order and order fries with a meat on top. Read more

Love the food, atmosphere and staff! I?m a new regular at Bao Bros! I just started working down the street and this place is by... far my favorite lunch spot. Their food is incredibly delicious, I?ve adored everything I?ve eaten. The Gochujang Bao and theloaded fries are personal favorites, but they have a nice smaller selection of foods and of course delicious drinks. The staffis always super sweet and the building itself is clean and well kept. If you?d like something new to try, or just want to find anew regular spot I highly suggest giving this place a try. This is my first time trying Bao of any kind. I had been wanting to try this place for a few months and was not disappointed... when I did. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming when you walk in. The murals on the all are energetic and Houston specific. Thefood was great. I had the Korean Bulgogi, Gochujang, and the Fisher. All were good, but the Fisher was great. The tempura batterwas very light and crispy and the sauce was so flavorful. Nothing at all to complain about. The bao taste just like they look, like biting into a cloud. Extremely fluffy and perfectly cooked. I would highly recommend this location is you?re in the moodfor Bao. Read more

I took my wife and son here today for lunch. For about $50, which included tip, we ordered: 1. Loaded Fries with Bulgogi 2.... Fisher, Buffalo Chicken, & Bulgogi Baos 3. Milk Tea, & Mango Slush 4. Green Tea Ice Cream Bao I wasn't hungry because I hadeaten earlier, so I just nibbled a bit of everything. What I sampled was amazing. My wife thought there was a little too muchsauce on the Buffalo Chicken Bao, which she told the Manager, who surprisingly was not ashamed to come over and ask ifeverything was okay and if they could improve on anything. Personally, I could drink a whole damn bottle of Buffalo sauce, butin an era where everyone thinks they know everything, it is refreshing to know there are still people who are humble enough toask for criticism in the pursuit of perfection. My favorite was the Fisher Bao, while my wife and son liked the Fries the most. The drinks were very good, but the Milk Tea was strong. I wouldn't recommend drinking it at night. The only downer was that myson couldn't try the Ice Cream Bao because it had nuts. I'm sure some ackjass would take a star off for that, but I won'tbecause we weren't smart enough to ask beforehand even though we remembered to ask them to not include Sesame Seeds in theFries. All in all, this place is amazing. I am surprised it isn't busier than it was. The prices are good, the food isexcellent, and the service is extraordinary. It's a damned shame that the Scamdemic closed down the movie theater next door, which I am sure is killing their traffic. I will definitely be going back! Read more

Small restaurant, small menu, with good execution! With what they have on the menu... they do real good. I like everything I... ordered. Your are not overwhelmed with many items, but the dishes were really flavorful. People were walking up to the counterwhile we were ordering just to say their food was good. I personally like the small menu, but wish there was something else.Like one or two more items. ???????? If this place added maybe two or three simple but delicious noodle bowls they would be onfire.
