These have been some of the best empanadas I have ever tried. The chimichurri alone is magic.
This is unique find in the Tunnels and definitely worth a shot. I recommend the Meat options with malbec beef being the winner... on the list. Honorable mention goes to the chicken curry and the bacon/date (interesting is likely the right word). It is greatthat the empanadas or not saucy but well spiced and thoughtfully sized. Order 2 for a reasonable lunch, 3 if you are reallyhungry and 4+ if you are a Texan Read more
The smallest empanadas possible. As small as a 3 month old baby's palm. Argentinian? Get real, these are a low rent... tortilla/flour based empanadas. The quality of the filling is very low grade. Frozen for sure. Also, what Argentinian empanadaplace only provides "Red Hot Sauce" as a sauce? Real Argentinian restaurants provide a multitude of fresh crisp sauces fordipping. This was a huge disappointment. At about 3.75 bucks for 1 empanada...get a real. Go to any other empanada joint inHouston and you will find higher quality ingredients and momma style flavors and love in the food. What these really are.....arekolaches. Kolaches in a dried-out casing. Read more

Limited lunch hours like most of the restaurants in the tunnels. I enjoyed the Malbec beef and spinach and cheese flavors.
