I don't write reviews but we decided to try this location once more and it'll definitely be the last time. We have never been to... a coffee shop that is so consistently awful. The "baristas" have no training, they don't even know what basic drinks are. Todaytook the cake though. We ordered 2 drinks 1) 16oz triple shot latte 2) Pumpkin latte, 1/2 sweet w/ oatmilk. She took the order,repeated it to us seemed simple enough...... and then we got to the window. First she tries charging us for one drink, whichwas a large pumpkin something (not what we ordered and there was no one else in line to get confused with) so we repeat ourorder, she's obviously confused and doesn't know how to ring it up and she's still trying to give us large drinks until shefinally says, "do you want sm, med or large?" We say, "probably med, if that's your 16oz?" To which she says, " I don't knowwhat a 16oz is" (mind blown)????. At this point we have no idea what we're going to get. We can hear her inside complaining andthen she hands us 2 large mystery drinks. ??????????? She gives us a price that is definitely too much but we realize at thispoint there's no way we're getting what we ordered so we drive away with 2 overpriced cups of what tastes like warm milk. ???? Love this place. Order was correct. Super friendly staff.
The coffee was fine but the breakfast bagel wasn?t the bread was very hard and tasted like soap also it came in a plastic... container which would have melted if I had not moved it to something else because it was so hot. I usually love PJ?s breakfastelsewhere but not a this location the experience was much different. Read more
Every time I go there they can't seem to get my order right, it kind of reminds me of McDonald's..
Awesome little local Louisiana coffee house that you can buy 2 coffees for the price of 1 Starbucks.
I went there this morning around 10:23 and I observed that none of the employees were wearing masks. There was no notice on the... front door indicating that masks must be worn. Very disappointed. Three stars are for the white chocolate raspberry scones thatI purchased....so good. The owner should address this location because if bars can be closed for not following guidelines, PJ?sGrand Caillou could be next. New review for 02/15/2022. I went to this PJs this morning for two croissants and asked thebarista to input my cell number to receive my loyalty points and I never received them. Looking back on my history, the lasttime I received loyalty points from this location was in May 2020. I have no problem at the location on Saint Charles St. withreceiving my points which is out of my way since I live on the Eastside. Seems that the baristas on the Eastside haven?t a clueor proper training. Hopefully I?ll hear something from the corporate office which I have emailed my concerns. Read more
Just left this location. Went through the drive thru and ordered an extra large ice coffee with vanilla and coconut. and a... croissant. I asked specifically if they had it, which they said they had, but when I got to the window, they had my coffee readysurprisingly fast. With no croissant. The barista claims she didn't hear me ask for one even though she clearly said they hadthat kind when I asked. Not only that, but my unusually fast iced coffee was wrong. No vanilla or coconut. I don't even know ifthat was supposed to be for me. They usually take a while to fix. For the price you pay you expect your order to be correct. Read more
