I love going when they have live music. Always great service. The margaritas are on the weaker side, and the food is decent.
The atmosphere is nice. My server was nice but seemed very inexperienced. The food was less than average. The drinks were... terrible. And we were charged extra for items that came with the dinner such as pico and sour cream. Read more

We love the staff and party atmosphere. Through covid it was a great escape. I have one request. Please put up a permanent... stage by the bar like you do when Canebreakers plays and PLEASE dedicate a dance floor space big enough so we can all get upthere. Ditch the bandstand up in the front, that tiny space in front of it does not encourage letting loose. Move it to theback and open it up. Let's make the party a party. Read more

Showed up to La Carreta on a Monday afternoon around lunch. Was seated fast and friendly with about 50% of the place filled.... Monday is all day happy hour and it is one of the best I have found in Houma. 3$ for a 22 oz beer. Pretty solid. Complimentarychips and salsa. To be clear this is Mexican American, this isn’t authentic Mexican. But for what it is, it’s pretty danggood. Ordered a steak burrito with rice and beans. Good portions for the price. Friendly and prompt service. If I am ever in thearea I would return. Can recommend for the good happy hour and solid steak burrito. Read more
