If you are heading west on US270 towards Royal, AR, please don't pass this hidden gem if you are looking for an excellent... breakfast or lunch. Don't let the unassuming exterior bely the great offerings to tempt your palette. All meals are homecooked and generous for the price. I have tried breakfast at many places in the area. This place is not so great. McDonalds has a better breakfast. The home fries... are basically a smattering of French fried previously frozen bagged as if I was back in the military. The sausage patties arehalf the thickness of any other cafe I have sampled across the country and in the Oauchita area in particular. No biscuit orbiscuit and gravy comes with the two eggs at $8.50. Over medium eggs come with undercooked whites. If the reviews were showingan average of three stars I would consider giving two stars but as I originally wrote McDonald?s has a better breakfast and israted as three stars. Read more

The Food Quickly Arrived at the table and was too hot too eat, after a few to let it cool down I enjoyed and especially enjoyed... this Friday Fish Special for lunch. Quaint small-town atmosphere restaurant. Deceiving from the outside but don't pass this place up. They have recently had a name... change, so don't miss this place - Google Maps lists it as Tikis Landing, but the new name is Jany's Place Family Restaurant.Wonderful sweet owner who makes all the food from scratch. We had a wonderful breakfast. The pancakes were hot n fluffysprinkled with powdered sugar ???? My husband had the Sunrise breakfast with two sunny side up eggs, country potato hashbrownswith bacon ???? and toast. Everything was great!
