Good, great, awesome, fantastic, phenomenal & best I've ever had. Were all phrases from my party of 7 tonight. Among the best... of the best is all I can tell you. Now, it's going to cost ya, but it's money well spent. This seafood gumbo with rice*special* was out of this world. A bit spicy, but the one guy from Jamaica said.. Man, that's not spicy... My new bride, and I had a wonderful mini moon at the Homestead this last weekend. The staff and service was excellent as always.... The hotel is being renovated and made it feel as though the entire hotel was ours to enjoy. We even saw the ghost bride. It wasfreaky yet fun! Read more

Sad that I have to write this review. The food was amazing as was our server. But the management is in need of a lesson or two... in customer service. I booked a wine room private dinning experience. This is supposed to include a private table in the wineroom, champagne, and a private menu. They overbooked and told me a few hours before that they would not be able to accommodate.They instead offered the tower suite. When we got to the restaurant, they offered the tower suite but also offered a table onthe patio in front of Martha’s Market. They assured us it would be private and no one would be “in our business”. Since itwas a nice night we chose the patio seating. Interestingly enough, three people walked their dogs right in front of our tableand several families let their children run up and down the steps of the porch right in front of us. What a surprise that, whenthe bill comes, we still got charged $250 for the “wine room experience” because it was “private dinning”. Sodisappointing that the management would overbook and then not even really make it right, and still charge us for an experiencethat we did not receive. I would not recommend doing a private dinning experience here. Read more
