The restaurant served the equivalent of two large busloads of people. There was a line set up to make sandwiches. Nothing... really for vegetarians. Swiss cheese had crusted edges from being old. Not the greatest... No variety. The desert "bar" hadcandy that had no wrapping. There were also lemon squares and cookies. The good thing was the cost of a Negra Modelo was only$4.00. Read more

Wanted to give them 4 stars .. baby back ribs looked like spare ribs to me (but the server warned me) and the chicken breast was... overcooked (but the excellent sauce kept it from being too dry). But the food was very good and the "sides bar" was over thetop, so they get a rare 5 from me. Read more

Long day driving down from Rushmore to Wind Cave, so we asked our hotel for a recommendation and came here. HIGHLY recommend... them as a great tourist or family stop! For our group of 6 kids, 4 adults, they needed 20 min to get us seated (totallyreasonable for our crowd.) My kids enjoyed the lemon water they kept cool in the entry for waiting guests. We were especiallyimpressed with their salad and sides bar! The greens were fresh, the options plentiful, and the sides were scrumptious! FYI, themac and cheese and steak fries were far better than the kids meal man or fries. Since the salad and side bar was included withall meals including kid's, my kids never touched their kid dishes and just left kid mac or fries on the table, opting for thebar mac n cheese. Those of us who ordered meat main courses were well-pleased with the flavors and presentation of our dishes. We had one mix up... my husband thought his meat was overcooked when he ordered medium rare. Turns out, he had claimed my oldestkid's steak, so he withdrew his cooking complaint since he was at fault for the swapped dish. All the staff we met weredelightful, and eager to serve us. Coming here after a long and busy road trip was such icing on the cake. Seriously, if you arein Hot Springs, this delightful restaurant is a must experience stop! Read more

The place is situated in a very beautiful setting and is a very busy dinner destination. It was worth the wait, however and my... family and I loved it. I tried a beer flight and really enjoyed the Jeremiah mountain man ale over the others. The salad bar wasexcellent and the wings were very large. Overall a good value even though it will run you a lot more than a chain restaurant orfast food. Get there early! Read more

The Western Burger was super delicious, and the Cheesecake.... Sogood!! Thanks for a great service, we can't wait to return on our next trip! Read more

WOW! This was EXACTLY what we needed after a long day of hikes! Was really surprised at how good this was in this little town.... Had a GREAT chicken fried steak and a wonderful slice of coconut cream pie. Topped it all off with a bunch of 4oz pours of craftbeers on tap. Tried them all and they were all good. Service was super friendly. Music playing in the background was perfect.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Read more

I love this place. I think I had the owner waiting on me and she was so kind. They do allow dining inside and have taken steps... to keep things clean. The menu is much smaller than normal, but that's understandable! I had the ribs and they were melt in yourmouth tender. Great bbq sauce. The fries had some kind of seasoning on them which made them taste like potato oles from tacoJohn's and that's a compliment. Read more
