Delicious dinner. Stayed at The Waters for one evening and enjoyed dinner at the Avenue. Jenna was our very attentive server. We... had the bourbon shrimp appetizer that was wonderful with a little smokiness. We both had the salmon entree and it was cookedperfectly with delicious grilled corn. It paired well with the Riesling. Highly recommend. We also had a wonderful breakfasthere cooked by Zeke. Bethany was our pleasant and helpful server. We loved the breakfast! Delicious grits and huge homemadeEnglish muffins with homemade raspberry jam. Don?t miss it. We were able to talk with manager Liz during our stay and she washelpful and accommodating. Read more

I ate here a few times while I was staying at the Waters and everything was phenomenal. I wanted to recognize Kyra who was... working the bar. She made great recommendations and helped us come up with other ideas for things to do. It had been a long day; it was hot; and The Avenue was close by. I was looking for acceptable, not exceptional. We were VERY... pleasantly surprised. Perfectly mixed martini, beautiful steak fries, and the best cheesecake I have had outside of theNortheast, all with exceptional service from Diane, who apparently usually works at the hotel's roof restaurant. It was a real treat to come out of the heat into this deliciously cool restaurant. We had Steak Frite with cocktails and... cheesecake for dessert. All very delicious. We went for breakfast at 7 am because website said thats what time they opened. We had a scheduled massage so time was a factor.... We checked the time the night before to plan our morning. We got downstairs (stayed at The Waters) and they did not open until8. We went for massage and had breakfast after around 10:30. We waited forever for our food even though they did not appearbusy. Multiple waitresses/waiters standing around looking at their phones. Lady tending the bar took our order. Some food was?lukewarm? to say the least. We ate. We paid. We checked out as it was our final day. When reviewing my bill via email fromhotel, the Avenue charge was incorrect. I contacted The Waters and they returned my call to say the person entering the amount(same girl who took our order and brought our food) added wrong amount for tip by mistake, over $70. The Waters is nice howeverif you stay in a room by the street its LOUD most of the night and early morning. We have planned a trip to Hot Springs for nextmonth and have chosen a different location to stay and most definitely to eat. Read more
