I had a wonderful gigantic sandwich on homemade bread. It was approximately 5 to 6" around, served with home cut fries! Every... kind of meat available...steak, chicken, pork, bacon, all kind of stuff! Then sauted onion & bell pepper, Oaxaca cheese, avocado, jalapeño (I had them on the side)...and more! I can't wait to go back & try something else! Truly authentic Mexicancuisine! Yum YUM! Ya'll have to go get you some! ???? Read more

The service for me went over all great! We were taken to our table immediately by our waiter and seated in a booth. Small issues... did arise at this point but nothing angering or hard to fix. I ordered a tall Budweiser with some Bloody Mary mix on the sideand wasn’t ID’d, which is mainly a staff concern, I was thankfully above age. The Budweiser came but the mix did not. Iasked for it politely again and there was either a language barrier or he just didn’t know what it was so he sent anotherserver over to ask me what it was I was looking for. They had it brought out and corrected shortly after. I went out of mycomfort zone a bit because I typically order camarones a la Diablo. The food presentation was on point! The food was stillvisibly steaming hot, well prepared, and the variety in my dish was impressive. Fish, scallops, crab, shrimp, cheese, peppers, onions, avocado, and cactus. The flavor of the dish was a little on the fence for me though. You could tel there was a sauce init but whatever the sauce was had no flavor. Each bite definitely tastes mostly like whatever meat it was being eaten at thetime. But that could be exactly what they’re going for because again, this isn’t a dish I typically eat but had to trybecause it just looked way too good! I will be returning and this time am going to try the camarones a la Diablo so I can see ifthe flavor there is more of what I’m looking for. I am excited to give it another chance! Great atmosphere, attentive staff, and wide selections. Read more

I really enjoyed the food today. I got the Pollo Quetzal with chicken, bacon, mushrooms, and onions. I enjoyed it. My wife got... the mixed fajitas. The flavors were nice. Our waitress needed to be more attentive. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit. Read more

So very delicious! The salsa is amazing, as well as the beans. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. 10/10

We will absolutely go back again! Wasn't sure if they were open due to construction out front, but we are glad we didn't drive... off!!! My mom (Goma) wanted something without garlic so Gerardo, the owner, came to our table to help find her something. Theyuse garlic in many of the dishes on the menu, but we gave Gerardo some like and don't like and off he went to create a dish justfor her! Kuddos to him!!!! She got an excellent meal thanks to him and his kitchen crew! My husbands fajitas were outstandingand my chimichanga was also. We look forward to trying more of their menu items soon. Mango Margaritas were really good too! Read more

While in Hot Springs we visited this location twice and both time we walk out full and happy with their food/drinks and... excellent service. Authentic food or the closest to it I order the Tlayuda Quetzal and it was delicious and so big I took halfof it home. This is definitely a place I would recommend if you are looking for great food at still very affordable prices! Read more

Update: Quality has suffered here lately, but I was hoping to not have to update my review. I ordered the seafood soup on a... recent cold day and it tasted just like it smelled….. like the bottom of a dirty fish tank. Carnitas are still good, butportions have gotten smaller. My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Hot Springs. I was a La Hacienda fan until the Viruswreaked havoc on the food and beverage industry. I have since switched gears to quetzal, and I have had quetzal 1-2 times perweek over the last month. The Carnitas Salsa Verde is really good. My wife loves their corn dip. Nice food, nice servicewhen eating in, and always quick service. Read more
