The BEST pizza in Desoto County. It was pouring down rain and storming and Wise Guy's credit card machine was down. Thanks Wise Guys!! Being a Chicago native, my husband and I have been missing or Chicago eats since relocating south. We gave... Wise Guys a try and were NOT disappointed! We live about 35min from the location and were back the weekend after first tryingit. The Maxwell street polish tasted just like I'd gotten it from the famous Maxwell's or even Comisky Park (the last 2 stadiumnames need not be acknowledged lbs) and my husband said the Chicago dog was spot on! We ended up ordering a Chicago style deepdish to take home for dinner and again, great job guys! While it's not a Lou's or Giordano's, it is an absolute contender andby far, the best pizza we've had since moving 2yrs ago! For any of you northerners who also moved south and might be lookingfor giardiniera to purchase (we have tried and failed many times), you can purchase some here! The staff are all very nice andseem to really drive home the Chicago feel, not to mention all the memorabilia decorating each wall. Looking around whileeating and this girl sure feels at home.
