i’m not even kidding when i say this but i had the best sandwich of my life here. it was the kale-pesto sandwich. i miss it... everyday. when i come back to the area i will be getting it again for sure. please get this sandwich if you’re reading this.it is so good. besides the sandwich, there was good service- the workers were friendly and attentive. very cute place, i lovehow books are incorporated. bathroom was nice as well. hopkins truly has some of the best places to visit. What a delightful place to read, write, daydream, and meet other lovers of literary things. I had an oat milk latte (the milk... was nice & creamy -- not always the easiest to steam). It was a quiet atmosphere of people working on laptops with coffee in thelate afternoon and switched to evening with quiet readers holding books, sipping wine. I sat under the skylight and it was socomfortable as I did some admin work on my laptop and then I spent time writing poetry. If you like being surrounded by booksand eavesdropping on bookish conversations with a nice drink to hand, Cream & Amber will be a treat for you. Read more
This is the coffee shop I've been searching for! Nice for a read, nice for working, nice for catching up with a friend, nice for... a relaxed moment to myself... BONUS - it's also an Indie bookstore! A delightful bookshop and cafe! The people running the place are friendly and always helpful, the book selection is broad and... carefully selected, and the food and drinks are great. The seasonal offerings are worth checking out. They tend to be creativeand delicious. Read more
I'm amazed I have not reviewed Amber and Cream till date. One of my new favorite places to frequent for good fresh and original... baked goods daily (something new daily!) The service can vary from good to amazing, with some staff, especially the morning crewreally knocking it out of the park in their service and consideration as well as their warm friendly interactions! Love it andrecommend folks. Food is quite good with fresh entries. Prices are not unreasonable, especially since they bring their food toyou. Nice outdoor patio given the location. Can be a bit noisy but that's the nature of the Hopkin's downtown area. Read more

Very cute bookstore and cafe! A wide selection of best sellers, and a marvelous place to sit down and enjoy them. The coffee was... very good, and I would not skip out on the day old pastries. I got some chocolate chip pumpkin bread, it was delightful. Read more
