Someone told me ?It?s not fair to compare our brisket to what you?ve had in Texas.? My answer is and was, you have to have a... standard. Saucy?s may have the best brisket within 100 mile radius. I may have just been served the end of what wasn?t theirbest batch. Great Brisket doesn?t need sauce. What I just had, needed support. There was almost no bark on it. It was a littleoverdone and dry. The potato salad was lacking something. The corn bread was very good and the chocolate cheese cake wasclearly home made and quite tasty. It?s nice that they have trophies by the door, adds to the atmosphere. Melanie did astupendous job serving. In closing, there is room for improvement in the brisket preparation. Read more

Industrial garage atmosphere w hard surfaces, plastic forks & paper plates is your dining experience when you enter Saucy's. ... But the friendly service, tasty barbecue, and casual, small-town dining is what makes Saucy's a place you want to return to. The menu offers reasonably priced sandwiches. All items a la carte. The only thing we saw that combined several items was theSampler Platter. We chose to share it and was pleasantly satisfied at meal's end. The Sampler contains your choice of meatslider (brisket for us), a chicken breast, a rib, (both w the sauce rubbed on them), a pork sausage, and our choice of twosides. The 3 bean salad and potato salad were dope! The best choice possible! Read more

The food is always hot and well seasoned. My 2 go-to?s are the tofu tacos and the kale and black beans. The portions are a good... amount for the price. For carry out if your are waiting they expedite the process! And they also have a drive thru. I come somuch they know my order before I tell them !! All of the staff are nice and accommodating whether you are dining in or carryingout. Read more

Like other reviewers have said, this place is a must if you?re in Hopewell. Also worth the drive if you?re not in the area... already. Everything is delicious especially the mac and cheese which has a kick to it and tastes homemade. The family pack isprobably your best option for the money even if you don?t have 4 people. Will be back again Read more

This is a small town gem. The meat is very juicy & taste perfect. We love the cue balls & the sauce that come with it.

Edit** Removing 2 stars: I went back and they served me stale brisket and I got sick. Okay. I just moved to hopewell and have... been having a great experience trying out the local eats. This place is amazing. I wasn?t sure how the Mac n cheese would comeout but it?s very good. I love the hint of spiciness in it. I look forward to trying out the rest of the menu. Had them 3 daysin a row now and just tried the cornbread! Slamming. Delicious. The bbq sandwich is different. I think I tasted a pineapple. Itwas divine. The only thing, I wish my sweet tea was bigger! It was good. This foodie is happy and I will be reporting back to my10k followers about this place. As well as my Facebook food group with over 100k fellow foodies in the 804 area. Cheers! Read more

I would say this place is a must have when in town. Everything we had was amazing, we tried alittle bit of everything. The... sweet tea was great. Besides the price being good for the amount of food we got. Our waitress sorry didn't remember your namebut "purple hair & kiss shirt" she was awesome she assured everything we asked for was good. She wasn't lying. Meat was soft anfell off the bone sauces were really good as well. Like I said we would come back here again. Thanks for the great experience. Read more
