I am not someone who eats fast food. At all. However, Captain D's has put lobster rolls on their menu and I decided one day when... I pulled in to get some sweet tea to try them. And they're pretty good. And the best thing is they're pretty cheap. So for 7:50I can get two lobster rolls, coleslaw or fries or whatever side I want and a sweet tea or drink of choice. When you look at theprice of a burger joint you can't even get a burger for that. I would much rather have a lobster roll. I did ask them what wasin it and the young girl that was working behind the cash register said the only thing she knew for sure was that it had crab init. That really made me laugh. Read more

One of the Best Captain Ds Ive ever dealt with! (And Ive been thru a lot). The food is always fresh, the order is always... accurate, and the Sweet Tea is always just right. I want to give them a super shout out for being open today in this surpriseice storm (or WHATEVER kind of weather this is today ????), 3 young ladies making it happen in there, like its a sunny summerafternoon day. PRO-TIP: Food is hot so open the lids when you get it. And let it catch a little air, so it retains crispiness!Otherwise it will get soggy. Turn a seat heater on to keep some heat in on the drive home. I had the 10pc Fish family meal, 4pcchicken meal, green beans, fries, hush puppies and jalapeno poppers & fried okra. Fish was crispy, chicken was as well, greenbeans have just enough taste to not need anything else on them, fries, hushpuppies and okra was fresh and lightly crispy aswell! Jalapeño poppers were pretty good as well. The drive thru speaker is kind of suspect, so speak clearly and be patient,but thats on ownership! Other than that nothing bad to say, I love it there! I like the fact that this is the ONLY Captain D's location which allow you to leave your tray on the table and someone comes to... clear it. Staff was nice and food was good. I am not used to a fast food style seafood place so we were impressed. Read more
