Best place to ride to for great food, awesome servers and cold drinks in Hope !! Always a great time with the locals and riders... alike. It's out of the way but close enough to make the trip there memorable and fun. Lots of parking for motorcycles always andthe view of the mountain is pretty spectacular. Next time you're in Hope, be sure to stop in and take on the "Rambo" Burger.Named after the movie that was filmed there 40 years ago !! Read more

The food was ok. The steak was pretty good and the fish n chips were way overcooked. It was a very busy place but lacked... character. Our waitress was a delight, sweet girl who had just turned of legal age recently but did a fantastic job serving.Only one other woman customer, it felt a little boy's club but I believe that was due to the road construction or pipe linegoing in and the lack of other establishments in Hope. I'd do in again on the way through when I don't feel like eating Subwayor Dairy Queen. The staff was really hustling! Read more

On the first of countless visits, Jeffrey appropriately romanced us on the menu. His zeal for his profession was immediately... apparent. The owners are present and active in the day to day goings on, very personable and in tune with the small to largeaspects of the business. The food is fantastic, rivaling pub food across the country. The beer is cold and prompt. Unrealview from the patio, the perfect spot for a pint and cigarette. The humans that are employed here are all as gorgeous as theyare diligent and professional. Wildly convenient to be able to grab beer and wine to go. Overall a gorgeous spot in Hope toget a big ol' burger and beer. Friday night is karaoke and my goodness is it ever a blast. Get some. We found this pub using our Google maps. It had a reasonably good rating. On entering, the place seemed like pubs I went to... years ago. This is not a bad thing. Our server was exceptional. I ordered a beer that I hadn't tried before and she said if Ididn't like it, she would get me something else. Thank you Chantal. The beer was good. For food I ordered the Philly cheese dip,my bud ordered the Schnitzel Burger. Both were excellent pub meals. Special events, on Sundays they play a game with thecustomers, when entering you get a numbered ticket and when you buy a beer, another ticket. The prize, some kind of meat. Thedraw numbers on the hour between 1 and 5 pm. Obviously not a game for vegans and vegetarians. Overall, a diversion from ourtravels thanks to the staff and food. Btw, for those who didn't know, Rambo First Blood was filmed in Hope and the fortiethanniversary is coming up. The pub and maybe other places in town will be hosting events. My boyfriend had a burger which he loved, and I had the Buffalo chicken wrap which was super tasty. We split an order of... poutine. We were 7 people after work and service was excellent and drinks delicious haven?t had food but next time we will. Ambiance was... great. Our server was smiling and chatting with us between rounds quoted 5 stars, Changed status for 4stars. Update try themushroom caps and it was a disappointment the name is not right they are not stuffed they have shrimp in it but no cream cheeseto blend it just mozzarella on top. Ok, I love this place. Lots of character here. I mean, like, Hope style characters. Friendly and opinionated. Service ranges... from ray of sunshine to surly to the whole half of the bar is waiting for a round. I appreciate them all. Old farts, bar stars,pipeliners, locals and people just passing through. A slice of time and place. For pub food they do good. Best I can figure isit is a mix of their own homestyle flair plus whatever cisco tosses into the kitchen. I've had worse, and I've had way better(looking at you, the Dewd) in a pub. But they're not bad! Eat the Skagit burger, it's great. No minors, caeser could beleveled up, and they don't have my drink du jour but I don't care, I'll be right back. Read more
