We stopped here for lunch on two separate days as there was nothing open with beer at noon. The food is good, not amazing but... definitely good. The outdoor area brings it up a notch. Plus fast service. They have a few games and books too. Plus a changingtable in the bathroom. Excellent beer! Read more
My husband and I came for lunch in Sunday July 10th. We were the only other table inside the restaurant. I order the Fig and... goat cheese burger it was bloody in the middle i wanted to let them know however the young gal never came to check of us. 29 minnot one check in she was by the cashier talking with the employee?s other and stated loudly she wants them to close at 2 insteadof 3 because she didn?t want to be here. I went up and asked for the check since ahe had no intention of coming back to ourtable. Cute place i hope she doesn?t ruin your restaurant. We try to visit every year Hope, so we stop at this restaurant for the lunch, I prefer a good cup of soup to warm up, a good... sandwich and water. But this year 2022 I asked for ????. We also visited the art cabin (I think is a nice Ukrainian lady theowner) that supports local artists and sales their art. Everything was fine until it wasn?t. It was a beautiful sunny night and me and my girlfriend decided to eat out on the deck.... Shortly after we started eating our dinner a live band was playing music in the background at a near by stage. We both finishedour dinner and decided to get dessert. When I went inside to order dessert I was told If I was going to be on the deck I had tobuy a wristband because of the live music playing. I told them we were already seated and eating dinner before any music wasbeing played and that we just wanted dessert to eat and we?d be on our way. I took the dessert and went outside to the table andsat down. Shortly after someone who worked there came out and told us we had to either move inside (there was basically no roomit was packed and hot) or buy a wristband to be outside on the deck. I told them we had already been out on the deck eating andwas not told any of this when we first ordered our food and sat out there. They weren?t having any of it and said those are therules. Instead of letting us eat our dessert and then leave they basically kick us out of there and were very smug about thewhole situation. That?s absolutely no way to treat paying customers if you want there business in the future. Unfortunatelyafter this whole situation unfolded I will never go back and support Creekbend Cafe and urge others to please take your businesssomewhere else where you won?t be treated like dirt.
