DELICIOUS food, excellent coffee, friendly service, nice atmosphere. This place is a winner in my book. The bacon waffle was to... die for and was topped with fresh fruit and freshly made whipped cream. Bagel with lox was light and fresh, love the arugulathey included on the side. I noticed many people posted negative reviews regarding prices and wait times. Was the wait for fooda tidge long? Yep. But they were busy I could see them hustling. Were the prices a bit high? Maybe. I could see that thesandwiches and salads cost a bit more, but for the quality of food we received for our breakfast order I thought it was veryreasonable. No complaints here. Read more
This was great. Are 6 stars possible?? As someone who doesn?t like to review places, and seldom does, I felt moved to write a... review because of how great my breakfast sandwich was (and my girlfriend told me for the fifth time to shut up about how greatit was and write a review). I think they must make the bread here (it looks like they do), because it was so soft and the tastewas extraordinary. I only had a egg sandwich myself and I snuck a bite of my girlfriend?s Turkey & Brie hot sandwich - I triedto convince her we should stay until lunch to eat here again. Sigh. My mom and I fell in love with this place, we went 2 days in a row! Their food is soo good, everything made from scratch in... house including the bread, yum! The coffee was so good, their homemade whipped cream was literally the best we've ever had. Itsmells amazing inside so it's hard to not get food when you're there. Soup of the day was clam chowder (pictured) and it wasdivine. We will definitely be back when we're in town, highly recommended! Read more
River Daze Cafe Rocks! Quiet place just one block off the main street in Hood River. Not as crowded on the weekends as other... breakfast places. Had the waffles, which were light and slightly crunchy topped with strawberries, bananas, and whipped cream. It was delish! Coffee is always good with free refills! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and localattractions. Highly recommended! Today they had watermelon and lime mimosas as t he early drink special.
