The Zip Pac is honestly kind of sorry looking but it is also SO GOOD! Its absolutely insane how there are literally four... different meats in one dish. You have chicken, fish, beef, and pork, all of which were delicious BTW. It's quite perfect forpeople like me who likes to have a taste of each offering. Go to place if you just want to try local hawaiian food. We usually order Chili with spaghetti and fried chicken.
Chicken was good and crispy even after reheating it. Hawaiian macaroni salad was better than some others I tried on the island,... but still not my cup of tea. Zippy's was really busy too! Read more
Was going for dine-in but they only had pickup. Ordering was easy and the wait was 12min instead of the 15min the website said... it would be. Food was delicious as always. We always eat at Zippy's when we come to Hawaii. They got a wide selection of foodfor everyone. Read more
Amazingly good food! So sad we didn't take much pic for you guys. But really recommend this place! We been try they food a... couple time and we love it. Big portion...super varies..tasty. And also exotic dish like Oxtail Soup! Super tender and soup isumami, it a little bit pricy for this soup but it worth to try. Other menu is really good deal..and they also have a gooddessert also. I heard Zippy's was a place that I had to try while in Hawaii and they didn't disappoint. I ordered the Fried Chicken plate... (sauces on the side because I'm not a condiment lover). They only offer takeout or delivery so you won't be able to fully enjoyhot fried chicken unless you eat it outside as you walk out. There is no dine in eating at this time. They only offer takeoutor delivery at this time. But back to this Fried Chicken plate, you get chicken fried 3 ways: Fried thigh, Chicken Katsu, and Korean Fried Chicken. Because I'm not a huge condiment person and opted to get them on the side, I'm glad I did because Ididn't really care for the katsu sauce, but that Korean sauce was delicious. I wish I had gotten extra Korean sauce. Although I had takeout, the chicken was still nice and warm when I got back to my hotel. I didn't really care for themacaroni salad, but my friend loved it. I got a slice of the Rainbow cake for dessert and it was really good. You justdon't see the different colors, you can taste the flavors of each slice.
