Tried Waiola TWICE..We got: Custard Bowl Lilikoi/Pineapple Shave Ice Waiola Rainbow Obama Rainbow Ice is fine, but melts way... too fast Syrups taste very Artificial. We prefer shave ice places that make natural syrups like Uncle Clays House of Pure Alohaand Ululani's on Maui. Read more

This is the best shave ice I?ve ever had. So finely cut and smooth. The syrup is not overly sweet. Really enjoyed the Waiola... rainbow with extra condensed milk drizzled on top. Yum. This is a Mom & Pop shop in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of locals. Noteverybody knows about Waiola?s. So worth the trip. It is so much fun to see all the little kids eating shave ice, spilling iton their shirt, dripping it on the bench, etc?. Read more

Let me start by saying I?m not a shave Ice aficionado in fact I think this was my first time having a shaved ice. Walking up... to the counter was a bit overwhelming as there are so many choice?s. The line was long and I didn?t want to hold it up so I letsome people pass. I chose to go with custard shave ice with the original flavor. I loved it the custard was buried in a moundof coconut flavor shaved Ice. The serving was large and the flavor went through and through. Would absolutely go back. Read more
