The luau is Wonderful. I love that The luau is outside. The sunset from September to March is beautiful to see from the resort.... The check-in process takes a long time tho. People were waiting in line for at least an hour prior to opening. And with the sunsetting, the wait can be a bit hot. The line stretched down to the lagoon. The premium seats have a much shorter line, ifyou're willing to pay for front of house. Limited front area seats sell out quickly. Fresh lei greetings for everyone is a nicetouch. Plenty of food options, so don't fill your plate with the first salad! The show is well presented and MC'd. Don't missthe fire dance! This is a great option for anyone staying at or near the Hilton Hawaiian Village but I still prefer Chiefs dueto their finale fire dancers. Chiefs also acknowledges newlyweds and anniversaries in a special way. It's just a long drive intraffic to get to Chiefs but another option. Read more
We came to stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village for our Anniversary. We booked the Luau for our Anniversary dinner. While I... can't speak to the reviews left by others, especially from 3 months ago, we booked ours in advance, and went with the premiumpackage (which I highly recommend) We got into a shorter line which got seated first and closest to the stage. The staff werepolite and attentive. The food was great and was available for the entire performance. The drinks were stronger then expected. The performance was stunning (understatement) and once it was completed, the performers split off into pairs offering to posefor pictures as you departed. I would highly recommend this experience. As I sit and compose this review, I would also caution people that this is an outdoor event and tonight's performance looks to be moving indoors as there is rain in the forecast. Thisis not the fault of the Hilton or the performers. You should expect a certain downgrade based on unknowns and if you are goingto be mad or disappointed by something that is even slightly off from what is advertised, then don't book it. Otherwise enjoy! Read more
Absolutely HORRIBLE! It was touted to be held on the resort?s great lawn but when I checked in and asked where it was, they told... me that they had moved it to a ballroom. I should have known then. The food wasn?t that great, the drinks weren?t great nor wasthe atmosphere. When I told family back home about it and told them about being seriously let-down, they completely agreed.Don?t waste your money going to it. Go to the Polynesian Cultural Center and do their luau. They actually tell you the storybehind the Hawaiian life. DO NOT DO THE HILTON LUAU!! And they absolutely don?t care that it wasn?t as planned. Read more
You have the location wrong. We followed the instruction to the location, followed the signs, climbed to the empty rooftop of a... parking garage, there we found a sign directing us somewhere else. Here are the pics (1) is of the directions and (2) the signat the parking rooftop. Btw, there?s no ballrooms, it all a lie. Read more

Expensive but worth it. Tickets $170 each. Dinner and an amazing show that shows dances from the pacific islands. They take a... pic of you before you get in, the photo folder it comes in has a lot of cool info. It's$45, on a card, but for me it was worthit because this was most likely a once in a lifetime vacay. Read more
