Very friendly atmosphere. All of the staff are warm and welcoming. Makes you feel at home. Everyone smiling, laughing, cheering... for their teams. Burgers, BLT, Tacos and Fried Saimin are GREAT! I would definitely go back. Recommend you go early or you mightnot find a seat. Read more
Their food is SO GOOD. If you love local style food, you need to try TJ's. I ordered Lup Cheong Fried Rice and it was filled... with other meats such as goteborg, bacon, and ham. They had 4pc oyster shooters for $15, which did not disappoint. And of coursetheir Korean chicken was was juicy and full of flavor. With all the changes in Hawaii since the pandemic I am glad to see this place as stayed great. My wife and I were visiting from Toronto, Ontario Canada. We came in the evening of Friday October 21st, 22. From the moment we... walked in, we felt very unwelcome. There was no indication whether we should find our own seat, and the bartender and serversgave us a blank stare, like we were intruding in a private party rather then trying to have a nice dinner in theirestablishment. We eventually just sat ourselves down, and waited about 10 minutes for a server to come over. Once she spoke tous, we made our decisions for food, and proceeded to wait at least 15 minutes for the server to return. I tried to catch her eyeor flag her down several times and she did not even give me the benefit of a nod. We felt utterly ignored and ended up walkingout. You would think with how expensive things are in Honolulu, that a business would be welcoming to customers that choose tospend money in their establishment.
