7:20pm on a Saturday and no line. Food was fresh and fish/shrimps were fresh grilled/beer battered. Not stingy with toppings and... a great quick feed option. Staff were lovely. Read more
So delicious! I ordered the poke tacos and my husband ordered the carnitas burrito. The toppings were fresh and the tortilla was... very good. The service was also friendly - would recommend to anyone looking for lunch in the Waikiki area. Do keep in mind theonly seating available is two picnic tables in the front - we shared with another couple and it was totally fine. Read more
I came to Hawaii for some interesting food. I found some here across from the Honolulu Marketplace. I have a thing for fish... tacos, and this is the place. I absolutely loved the taro tortilla option. Do not pass on this. The tacos were excellent. Iminus one star because it is one if those build your taco with too many choices. My advice? You are the chef. Have a menu thatfeatures what you think pairs. #1, #2 ect. The build your own is too complex, and leads to sauces and salsas that should be ontop of the taco, not underneath. The tacos were really good and such, but have pre set combos that make it easier to order. Thatsaid, they were delicious and one of the highlights of my trip. The garlic rice was banging too. Grilled fish tacos were not bad. Husband had the shrimp tacos and he liked them. Also got the chips and salsa, the salsa was ok.... I think it could’ve of been better. Place does allows you to pick what toppings you want, which is a plus. Read more
We were in Hawaii back in 2015 and loved this place! Glad to see this place survived the pandemic & is still crushing the taco... game. If you’re in the area, I’d highly recommend stopping in for a taco - or 5. Just as delicious as we remember ???? Read more
We had just arrived at our Hotel here in Waikiki after spending a week on the Big Island and this is the 1st spot that blew our... tastebuds away and filled us up! Husband had a steak burrito and pictured is the fish tacos with everything. So good that hadstarted eating before taking a pic! Also came with beans, rice and we ordered chips & salsa. For those in the mood for no frills Mexican food...this is the spot. Food is tasty, price point is a bit high for being no... frills but given that the location is so central and convenient, it's worth it! The portion size is very reasonable. Theirrefried beans are pretty good. This is worth a try if you're in the mood for authentic, no frills Mexican. Read more
