Muki Dogs has an iconic feel of the food carts you find in NYC! Friendly owner and happy customers waiting for their orders,... happy to tell you what their favorites are! Now the menu, super easy and probably the simplest to choose from! There's only 2items on the list and its: "The Works" - Beyond Sausage, Relish, Sriracha Mayo, Ketchup, Mustard, and Spanish Crumble! But weOpted for the "Miso Kake", - Beyond Sausage, Pickled Scallion, Sriracha Mayo, Miso Paste, and Furikake Crumble. AND we wereimpressed with the flavors that were partnered with a Beyond Sausage to create a unique blend of delicious flavors that dancedin your mouth. For being such meat lovers, we sure enjoyed our Vegan Hot Dog! You simply can't go wrong with a lighter andhealthier version of the OG hot dog! Good vegan hot dogs in a quaint location. They have two types of hot dogs and will say the miso kake is the more unique/must try... one as the works definitely feels more like a traditional dog. You should get both to decide for yourself ;) Read more
Delicious fusion style vegan hot dogs using beyond sausage brats and various toppings. Two types of menu items as of today. "the... works" is the original and is about $6.50 and the special with Furikake and Miso and Sriracha Mayo is around $8. Pretty good andnice owner. Wish it was slightly more affordable though. The most delicious vegan hotdogs you will ever eat! Highly recommended. The owner is very nice, too.
Luckily I looked at other pictures to find where this place is and was able to easily identify it via the cart. Parking was a... little challenging it being only street parking. Yes, the vegan dogs take about 10 minutes as they?re made to order and he isthe only one. He was grilling a dozen or so at a time. Be patient. I ordered the miso dog which I believe is $8.50 and the eventcovered a regular dog or the amount of a regular one. I paid the difference which was $1.45ish. I don?t like hotdogs in thefirst place so was curious to see if this would be different considering I?m pescatarian. Unfortunately, and being truthful, theflavors didn?t appeal to me or my family (I didn?t tell them it was vegan). Perhaps I should?ve stuck to traditional. I see thatmany people love the dogs so if you are a hotdog lover, this is for you. I?m not a meat eater and maybe this tasted too muchlike the real deal and the topping selection again, was not to my liking with furikake (although i love furikake on mostthings).
