Terrible. They don't even know their own policy. They tell us they are only accepting cash in the drive thru. We have no cash on... us fine. They then tell us we can order on mobile app. with a card. We do that. Come back thru drive thru. Then they tell usthey would have to manually reenter our order in the system because it is after 10 pm. And we would have to pay cash. What awaste of time!!! While I hate going to McDonald's (poor quality food),I was stuck going with my family who likes McDonald's. Fortunately, we... encountered the most wonderful cashier, LORENZ who was genuinely happy and friendly. He wasn't fake like the handful of othercashiers throughout fastfood establishments, he genuinely seemed humble, thoughtful, helpful, patient, and friendly. I don'tknow how to specify the difference without sounding cliché but he really did stand out due to his impeccable service. I woulddrive right past my local Hawaii Kai location just to come back to the Kahala location, as long as LORENZ was working. Read more
If you see the lion in the drive-thru is full which it usually is, park your car and walk in. The staff is really friendly and... they're very fast. Nice digital screens have the menu which entice me to buy more, lol Read more
The workers in kahala Mcdos don't even open the doors to let the customers in at the opening time of 6 am!! They only serve the... drive through window and ignore the customers pounding on the door!!!! What a incompetent group of workers!!! Also, the KahalaMcdo's is doing the shrinkflation now! In the local delux breakfast, you can't even see the egg hiding under the spam. It's sotiny now compared to before! And U sometimes don't get 3 sausage slices, but only 2. Kahala Mcdos is not worth going thereanymore. Move on! Read more
Got us some post beach food. Drive thru was slow considering there was only a couple cars ahead of us. The McFlurry didn't come... mixed but no big deal. I'm assuming the mixing thing was broken so when the kids noticed the oreos were just on top, I saiddon't be lazy and just stir it yourselves. Read more
The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant is very clean. I think with covid they have put in some restrictions of the... customer flow. Can only enter from one door and exit from another door in the other end of the restaurant. Even though thekiosks allow you to choose table service, they placed a label at the bottom of the kiosk screens that says "no table service",so you have to listen to them call out your order and walk up to get your food.
