Wow! Not only does this place have a hilarious name, if you understand Latin American culture but this is by far the BEST... samitch on the island! Why go to Jersey mikes and shell out $20 when for half that you could get a proper samitch that wouldimpress a person who grew up with NY delis. Keep up the good work! ?and put your machete away. Overall a decent sandwich place. The ingredients seem fresh and the sandwiches they make are tasty, big, and reasonably priced.... Depending on the day, service can be on the slower side however. Read more

Sandwiches were real good but they were out of capicola...we only found out because we asked if we could have it as a... substitute/extra. They told us they've just been using ham as a substitute...the next customer ordered a sandwich that includedthis and was not informed, which, in my mind is terrible customer service and a lack of transparency. At least inform me and letme decide from there. The bread was amazing, baked right there in front, soft, and thick (I dont care for too much bread butthis was airy enough that I did not mind the thickness). Plenty of meats portions, fresh sliced cheese, but very, very simplesandwiches. Read more
I love their sandwiches but the logistics are terrible. Couldn?t find parking the last few times I?ve tried to visit, so today I... decided to walk over for lunch. I checked their hours on Google and walked over, about a mile from my condo. The door was lockedand a sign says they are closed 10/19-31. I don?t believe it?s that difficult to update hours on public websites anymore andmany of us rely on this info. I understand that pandemic + Island staffing challenges do happen and I know it?s a struggle forsmall businesses, but it?s so disappointing I?m not sure I have the patience to try again. Read more
