What a pleasant surprise to run into this awesome bakery and restaurant ( fairly new here!) In Macy's. We over heard someone... saying Macy's had a restaurant so we followed and checked it out. We were mostly interested in the bakery and know the qualityand beauty of their yummy pastries. ( One disappointment was I was so surprised that they only had the Taro flavor of theirfavorite pastry they are so well known for ( pull apart? Forgot the name but I included a picture!) No line midday and very wellstaffed. Read more

You must try the bread with the jelly! I thought this place a great place to dine. I got the arugula salmon and my girlfriend... got the veggie omelet. It was pretty good! You know that the food is good when your girlfriend keeps reaching her fork over toeat your salmon! Lol. The line can be quite long so I just sat at the bar. Because there is a lot of people, you should reservea spot through their machine by the door inside. Because there is a lot of people, it can be quite noisy. For me personally, Iprefer more quiet places to dine because it allows me to talk and hear the person I am with better. Also, if you are worriedabout COVID-19, keep in mind that you may not be 6 foot away from other people. I definitely was not 6 feet away from the mansitting next to me at the bar. The customer service was great. I love how the waitress were very accomidating. Read more

Very nice. They had a variety of different foods that were very enjoyable to eat. We had a very fluffy pancake with chocolate... chips. Just had a burger as well as the Maki sandwich on a croissant roll. And also some buttered moonfish I think. Each one wasvery well done. The prices are the prices in Hawaii. The bakery which is adjacent to it has a lot of great options as well Read more

I am a repeater of Liliha Bakery, but this is the first time to visit at Ala Moana restaurant. Their food is always good,... service is excellent, and reasonable price. I liked they leave a coffee pot at the table, so I can get whenever my cup getsempty! Also, I saw the restaurant was full. I was happy to see the place was really lively since the pandemic hit us. Today Iordered Karaage Chicken and Prime Rib Steak. Both of them tasted very satisfied! I will go back whenever I crave the prime rib.One more thing that I love this place is the light. The restaurant faces mauka side at the 3rd floor of Macy's. We have lots ofnatural light (not direct sun light) in the restaurant. That helps us enjoy the food really good. Highly recommend dining here! Read more

We were recommended this place by friends. There is a bakery and a restaurant. We ate at the restaurant which was a long wait.... The oxtail soup was delicious and good value. We added saimin and it came with rice as well. This alone was able to satisfy twopeople! The oxtail soup was flavourful and the meat was soft and not difficult to remove from the bone. It also came with butterbread and jam which melted in your mouth. Read more

Definitely a big step up from the original bakery and dining counter in Liliha. Offers a variety of upscale local style cuisine.... Great for breakfast or a dessert break in mid-afternoon when less crowded. Stopped for a mid-afternoon coffee break. Chocolatesoufflé (new item) excellent. Excellent bakery products as in the old days. Coco puffs is the specialty item. They are uniqueand superb for taking home or to a potluck event. Read more
