I come from a poor town and I like any good street food, but I have to say this was a bit on the sloppy side. I just walked up... randomly and saw the outside order window, and was about to order but saw all the birds and was thinking there might be aninside section as the building looked big enough. I asked the guy if there's a back part with seating inside and he kind ofsarcastically said yea. I wasn't sure what the tone was about but maybe he just didn't hear me right or something. I walked tothe back there was no interior. I walked back and just kind of said, uh yea there's no back. I was in a good mood and I justthought he's just one of those guys that are not happy, so that's just how he's gonna behave. So I didn't really make anythingof it and ordered and ate my food. There were a lot of homeless people around that kind of bug people eating. I just talked tothem like normal and they didn't mess with me too much but they definitely weren't happy. I felt bad because I kind of seewhat's happening. But I dunno, I think it's a little too much... The dirtiness, environment, attitude, food. I can't say ifthe attitude from the clerk was just the guy or if it's because I had a camera, but all I'm doing is buying coffees, reading mybook, taking pictures of palm trees, and going swimming. It could be a little bit better I think. I don't think acting likethat is helping. Read more
When someone writes BBQ in the name of the restaurant you expect to see a BBQ. But there is no BBQ here. It?s a grill it?s not... even teriyaki. It?s just pretty boring. I come from a place where if you say barbecue, you get meats from barbecue, beans, cornbread I don?t know what this was, it?s rice, macaroni salad, and Costco meat grilled on a grill Chinese style. Got some shave ice. It was probably the worst shave ice I have gotten on the island. It was all ice and no flavor. I would do... one star but I feel bad for the restaurant. Read more
Nice place for lunch, four stars cause it could be a little bit more clean, but the food it?s ok.
L&L is one of my favorite restaurants in Oahu. When I live there we went so often. It is definitely delicious. I recently visit... the island again and we purchase a family box and fed 10 people. 5 adults and 5 children. The price was great for the amount offood we received. I can eat there everyday if I could. Read more

This traditional Hawaiian fast food joint (found all over the island) has wonderful bbq-type food. Great for a picnic on the... beach on a hot day. My wife got herself some chicken. And my baby ate up some French fries. I got the bbq mix with three typesof meat! Very inexpensive. The macaroni salad was extra special. Read more
I cannot say enough nice things about this little joint by the beach. The ribs were juicy, the garlic shrimp buttery and crisp... and the rice always soft and fluffy. I never once had an issue while on holiday and eating here, and I'd gladly return when I amnext in Honolulu :D Read more
