Quick and fresh at the kahala location. Great takeout sushi.
Awful! Counter help not there. Counter attendant would be a more accurate description. Sushi was sloppily placed into the... containers. Tamago sushi had no nori. Just pieces of tamago thrown on top of the sushi rice. Plus they nickel and dime youfor condiments. Had to pay extra for shoyu and wasabi. Hazukashi! Read more

Went on 14 Jan 2022 and again on 25 Jan 22 for a quick take out lunch. Initial impression on the Kahala Mall Kozo Sushi was a... bit irritating. I ordered the Aji Bento box on 14 Jan and I was irritated by 2 things. One issue was I did not get any soy saucewith the order and the second issue was the portion size of the ginger. It was one giant, 5 inch long sliver of ginger that waspiled in the corner. I held off on a review until I had a second visit. So today, I ordered the same thing, Aji Bento and a 2piece Tako Nigiri set. Much better experience today. Soy sauce was included and the ginger was what I would expect, severalslivers of different sizes. Everything tasted good, portion size of fish matched portion size of rice. Also, the includedwasabi was not overly dry and clumpy like clay. Overall, this is lunch bento sushi at good quality, fast friendly counterstaff, and a good price and one should not be confused and think it is high dining sushi. I usually go to Kozo Sushi in Windwardshopping mall and am glad that the Kahala Mall Kozo Sushi lived up to my expectations. Read more
