Came here for breakfast and got their Portuguese Sausage Platter. Not sure what brand of sausage they use, but it's great! A bit... oily, but sure is tasty, wish they gave more than 4 slices! The scrambled eggs are good, but then again it's hard to go wrongwith scrambled eggs. The rice is a bit inconsistent. Sometimes it is cooked perfectly, sometimes it is a bit on the hard/dryside. Relatively quiet during lunch... if you're in a rush for a quick bite, the spicy chicken sandwich would do the job.
Hey it's JITB! What can say? This JITB (downtown) still has no inside seating, so the searing outside is super odd!!! The... chairs don't match the tables... Prompt service, friendly staff, clean area. There is quite a bit of outside tables and chairs to sit and eat. Lunch time is... usually busy, as expected. Great place for lunch! Read more
Bought a local breakfast platter this morning and after digging in I felt something unusual in my mouth. The "thing" turned out... to be a long strand of black hair in the scrambled eggs. Not good. Called the store and spoke with whom I believe was themanager but received nothing other than a curt apology. I wonder if the employees even wash their hands . . . The only problem was that I ordered a "2 extreme breakfast sandwich combos" special with a coupon, and one of the sandwiches... only had one sausage patty. The other had two, which is correct, but it was too much trouble to go back and correct the mistakeby the time I discovered it. So low mark for the food because of the error, though it tasted okay, and the rest of theexperience was all right. Ordinarily, the overall experience with Jack in the Box is fine.
