Its been a while since ive been here, and the renovations has changed this place drastically. It's all brand new. I was a bit... disappointed at first' but our server was exceptional, and the food even better! The old charm is gone, but change is good. The best food, hands down. Incredible experience. Fun, casual, family atmosphere but with absolutely the best izakaya food ever.... The wagyu steak, sashimi, mushrooms, crispy shrimp - the list goes on and on. We are here on the first night of our weeklonghawaii trip and literally nothing else has compared. Exceptionally tasty food. We had the soft shell roll, mushroom eggplant dish and fish (not pictured). Some service people very... attentive although it varied. We ate at the bar as the tables for 2 were so close they would not allow for conversion. Wassurprised when one waitress commented half way through our meal she thought our chairs were not placed close enough to the barfor her liking. Read more
