My bf comes here after his beach sessions and loves it. So he took me here today and I've gotta say this place is probably the... best Greek restaurant on the island. My gyro sandwich with fries was very tasty for not a high price. Getting spicy wasn't really an option but that's ok. The marina... atmosphere is really cool too. Check it out if you're in the area cruising through Hawaii Kai. Read more
One word to describe this restaurant is BLAND!! The portion sizes are the only good thing about this restaurant. We had the... Hummus, which was very bland and the pita tastes under baked. We also got the calamari appetizer. Barely fried and plain, thebest thing on the plate was the garlic mayo. For entrees we got the Greek Lasagna and Lamb shank. The lasagna was really messyand burnt. There was no real care in how the layers were made, like the cheese was all to one side and there was barely any meatin between the pasta. And I like the edges a little crispy, but this was straight up burnt. The lamb shank was very tender butjust because lamb is just a tender meat, the flavor was so plain and the sauce was very greasy and bland. Both came with thesame trash pita bread and side salads which were fine, the vinaigrette was good. When she asked if we wanted a to go box iwanted to ask for a trash bag instead. Read more
Fresh, delicious authentic Greek food at the Greek Marina. The friendly staff works hard to ensure your experience is great.... Often, you will be greeted by the founder of this restaurant by the water. The ambiance is very nice. The interior decorated inthe traditional blue and white paint, with seating inside and out. Generally tasty. The dolmas (they were all gone before I got a good picture - they were served on a bed of lettuce) and gyros... were the favorite thing on the table... Other things ordered that were pretty good were the fish and moussaka. Read more
The food here is amazing. Everything we order from the Lamb Rack, Moussaka, Gyros Chicken, Gyros Salad, Fried Calamari,... Hummus/Pita Bread, and Greek Style Fries was perfectly seasoned and delicious. Serving size were big, prices are great. Its amust go place to eat. Read more
First time eating at Greek Marina and it was an okay experience overall. The Gyro chicken sandwich was quite bland, even though... it had some sauce on it. My wife had the Gyro salad, which was quite large, but she wished there were some Greek olives onit. We also had the spanakopita which wasn?t worth it. 2 small pieces served with a medium salad? I should?ve gotten Frenchfries. Doubt we?ll return. Read more
