Easily the best mint chip I?ve ever had *chefs kiss*. Tasted like a real mint leaf was perfectly blended into my ice cream?so... fresh!! Others tend to taste artificial and like toothpaste. They mix it with Andes chocolates which are amazing. I also had theKona coffee which was also great, but the mint chip really stole the show. Would love to come back to try some more flavors! Hidden gem of ice cream among multiple other touristy ice cream shops. Kai Coffee/Chocolate was amazing. Tasted fresh.
This is a little ice cream stand tucked away at the Alohilani Resort. I had the crack seed sundae which is vanilla and... strawberry ice cream with crunchy mochi, condensed milk, and li hing mui powder. The ice cream tasted great and was nice andsoft (not icy). I loved the li hing mui with mochi and strawberry ice cream. It was a great combination. We also got Kona coffeeand mint ice cream with condensed milk and it tasted great! This is a great hidden gem with unique ice cream flavors. We will beback to try the other flavors! Read more
Basically a little hidden gem in the middle of Waikiki. First of all it is not inside the resort, but on the backside of it... along Kealohilani Ave, in what looks like a repurposed service or delivery area. Multiple flavors to choose from, and I didn'thave to deal with a wait, so what more could you ask for? Perfect for grabbing a few scoops then heading down the beach to takeit all in! Read more
Great ice cream/ sorbet. Can choose as many toppings as you?d like. The location is somewhat hidden on the side of a building up... a walkway ramp. Once you see the string lights you know your in the right spot. Read more
Hidden Ice cream joint in Waikiki serving delicious tropical flavors. If you aren't looking for this place specifically, you... might miss it as you walk past it. A true hole in the wall. Food 5/5: Homemade Hawaiian flavored ice cream. Avoid the chainplaces and get a scoop here if you are craving some great ice cream. Service: 5/5 Order, ice cream is scooped, you are happy.Everything happens in that order so always a happy ending. Tips: Again, the place is a little hard to find if you arentlooking. There is an inlet from the street with a sign that says Double Fat Ice cream. Parking sucks, its Waikiki, so if youarent staying nearby try parking at the Zoo, they have cheap rates. Read more
Glad we were brave - kinda scary initially cos it's in the back of Aloihilani resort down a dark road. However the sorbet and... ice cream were fantastic and so worth the adventure. Read more
