Decided to give this place a try, the service is friendly and the food is acceptable. The place is clean and plenty of sitting... space. I tried the Chicken Katsu Curry Rice, it was too much curry, not their fault. If you like chicken katsu and little curry,maybe ask for the curry on the side or something. Fast friendly attentive service. No nonsense kind of place that I like. Prices are reasonable. Get the mini ramen and choose 2... sides even if you're not that hungry. Alot to share between 2 people. I got spicy tonkotsu. My girlfriend got black garlictonkotsu, asked to add extra cabbage. Sides we got chicken katsu, shrimp katsu, crockette, and mochiko chicken. The crockettewas my least favorite of the four we choose. We also got cheesecake, for $3 cannot go wrong. Give these guys a try. Read more

Excellent udon here - very toothsome and tender, the hallmark of fresh noodles. The combo is a great deal: your choice of a bowl... of ramen or udon, and then a side ranging from gyoza to tako yaki to shrimp tempura to calamari. Staff are super nice, very helpful and attentive with great service minded and beautiful smiles. My boyfriend ordered a spicy... beef udon and it was a little bit too spicy for him ( the soup was perfect but my bf rarely have the spicy food ????) The staffcame and offer to put more soup in there and kept checking if that was okay for him. We were impressed by that. Thank you somuch. Btw I ordered Tan Tan ramen. A great option for ramen in the Kahala/Kaimuki area. Clean. We went during the first few weeks of opening. Service was great,... lots of smiles and so attentive. I had the Kimchee ramen and I gotta say as a spicy ramen connoisseur this had got to have beenthe most tastiest broth I have had in the kimchee ramen category. The Hubs had curry which he loved and the daughter had akeiki ramen which she liked. Would definitely go back! Read more
