Absolutely wonderful experience today for brunch! Almost everything is homemade, prices are reasonable, food is delicious and no... less than three different staff checked on us while we were eating. Service was exceptional and our server was super friendly!My husband had some grits and shared a bite or two with me...best we've ever had!! We also tried grit cakes...yummy. The food was super fresh and wow! Sausage and biscuits was huge, recommend half portion for one person. Papa gators brisket... sandwich was delicious and the au jus was perfect. Cattle drive burger had a ton of the onions, crispy bacon and was perfectlyprepared. The staff was extremely attentive. One suggestion is to alert customers that you pay at the counter when you are done.It was a little strange that staff was right on top of everything but when the check should have come, suddenly they were gone.Now that i know to pay at counter its not strange but to a new customer, it's awkward. Great food yesterday after a long drive from Pennsylvania. Yummy ???? brick oven pizzas, a HUGE soft pretzel ????, great views,... friendly staff and the perfect ???? refreshing Homosassa Lemonade ???? for this Mama to decompress after a 17 hour drive! Ihighly recommend ????! Read more

The Cattle burger was amazing! Perfectly cooked to personal preference. The bacon, cheese, onion tumbles with the white cheese... was a perfect combination. ???? We also had biscuits and gravy, oh my yum. The girls up front were friendly and attentive toeach others guest/tables. We got a cinnamon roll to go with heat up tips from the gals and it sure hit the sweet treat spotlater. Read more

What a fun place! Where else can you enjoy nice food and drink, watch monkeys on their own private island, see boats cruising... by, while basking in the sun with a nice breeze? The upstairs provides a wonderful view of the area. This is part of a resort,which in addition to food, offers vehicle & boat rentals, lodging options, a couple restaurants. We did not eat here but good stop for some cocktails and to take in the views. This fantastic all the way pub supports a small... island just off the docks that is home to several monkeys that the owners have either saved or rescued and proceeds go to thefeeding in care of these magnificent animals. As the economy returns they plan on adding an air conditioned area for theprimates and we enjoyed watching not only them but the water traffic went by such as local fisherman and air boats. The drinksand bar area are large and the bartenders are quick to refill your drink. I?ve recommended this place to family and look forwardto returning to try the cuisine. Read more

Stopped by The Monkey Bar for a drink and appetizer. Drink was good but a little pricey. Flatbread was good too. We enjoyed the... water views and watching Monkey Island. If you have a bee allergy February might not be a good time to visit. Read more
