This is an old locally owned barbecue place. I always get the grilled chicken breast with their slaw. It is tender chicken with... a nice mild Greek sauce on it and the slaw. I always enjoy it. If you like fried okra (and I do), theirs is fried whole. It isvery good, too. Read more
Awesome experience from beginning to end. If you want comfort food that tastes like Grandma made it than this is it! The okra... is so fresh and crazy good! Mashed potatoes are real with small pieces of skin. Mushrooms are good chunks not slivers. Gravytastes like skillet gravy not bullion and water. It was crowded and I still got a table and my food took no time! I can't waitto try something else on the menu!!! I ordered the large chopped steak onions gravy and mushrooms of course! First off let me say the customer service is always amazing! However, yesterday I went in and ordered a grilled cheese sandwich,... queso grits, and a sweet tea. The grits and tea were delicious but my sandwich was not a grilled cheese it was two pieces ofwhite bread with cheese in the middle. Sadly, I had made it to work when I noticed it. This place is AMAZING! The food is delicious. The staff are super friendly (which is especially important early in the morning).... Oh, and the fresh squeezed orange juice is great! It was clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast. Read more
I ordered food just for me and spent 35$... grits were not cooked...full of cheese sauce not to good of a taste...any way I was... totally over charged today...I only went to get a taste but my expectations were let down. The drink was pretty good. And I'm Myfamily food critic..1 star. The food on left is what I have worth salvaging in my entire order. On the other hand on the rightthis is going to the dogs. The grits weren't cooked thoroughly. Should of went to Mickey D's. Sausage egg and cheese biscuit.35$ what a mess. Spent all that and half of that went to the dogs wasted time and money. Read more

Great food. Not just BBQ. Bought a bottle of the house hot sauce too - it's a great combination of heat and flavor. Had Greek... Chicken with awesome fried okra and onion rings. Owner is about greeting regulars and all...Will definitely be back when intown. Read more
Food was good. Got country fried steak, mash potatoes and gravy and fried okra. Didn't realize the okra was battered whole... causing a few stringy strands to deal with. Don't know if anything can be done about parking. We went around 12N and had tocircle the parking lot for 6-8 minutes before a spot became available. My experience is that the peak lunchtime is the worst. Otherwise, there's enough parking to handle the crowds. Read more
