Upon our entry to Yardie Spice, the owner of the restaurant made quite the impression on us as first-time guests. He guided us... through the menu on the wall, providing us recommendations and detailed descriptions of menu items. All our food was served withbeautiful presentation. We felt very well-taken care of. My partner and I ordered the Conch Fritters and Jerk Chicken asappetizers, which did not disappoint. The Conch Fritters were very tasty (and filling) with the accompanied sauce and the meatof the Jerk Chicken Wings fell right off the bone. Both had a bit of a spice, but were not too hot to handle for my low spicetolerance. The Sweet Chili Salmon was made to perfection, topped on a bed of rice with a spicy guacamole that enhanced the dishin a way I could have never expected. The only disappointment was that the Conch Fritters had already filled me up, so I had totake my leftovers home (which, by the way, still tasted great after reheating the next morning). My partner cleaned his GoatCurry off the plate at the restaurant. Needless to say, we were over the moon after our meal. Yardie Spice single-handedlycured our after-work hanger. 10/10 Would definitely come again if or when we come back to this area! Read more

Yardie Spice is a top-notch diner serving authentic Jamaican and Haitian casual cuisine, with a good variety of menu options... including all the popular chicken and seafood island dishes from Jamaica and Haiti as well as several delicious vegan choicesand some of the best mango-passionfruit-ginger juice you've ever had. Yardie Spice is small and happily focused on quality overquantity, serving great food to those who know about them, and as such have established a following of locals who frequent therestaurant regularly. It is family-owned and operated by a collection of friendly and engaging Jamaican and Haitian people whowill help newcomers decide what particular dish will suit their taste and pallet amidst their particular tolerance for strongisland spices. I personally chose the classic Jamaican jerk chicken over rice and salad, and it was perfectly done, spiced justright and extremely delicious! Read more

Yardie Spice is exactly the type of restaurant you want to visit. The food is delicious with very tender and flavorful goat... curry. The gentleman working was so friendly and the atmosphere was great even on a weekday lunch. I also recommend the conchfritters and spicy slaw. Will definitely be back! Read more

Absolutely amazing! The inside of the restaurant is very quaint. The owner is incredibly nice and helps you through the menu if... it's first time. My husband and I ordered three dishes to try a combination of food. It's very rare we find ourselves having ahard time choosing a favorite dish. All three dishes were outstanding. We couldn't stop eating and took nothing home. You won'tbe disappointed. Read more
