Friendly place with authentic food and charming servers. First thing I noticed was the presence of authentic Mexicans enjoying... their cooking. Started with fried corn tortillas with their version of salsa--tomatoey, thin and watery. My boys ate a burritoand tacos. Stuffed with meat, correctly served with the appropriate tortillas. I had the chicken enchiladas mole, served withyellow rice and runny, thin refried beans. Mole had plenty of chocolate, tons of chiles and topped with sesame seeds. Everythingwas delicious. They even have my favorite Mexican beer--Negra Modelo. Prices are comfortably low for big portions. The diningroom is pretty much undecorated, featuring all of their free beer promotion stuff. This place never disappoints. I ordered something new to try...the carne asada plate with camarones was delicious. The shrimps... were big and not those pre frozen tiny ones. 10/10 on taste! My husband ordered 6 taquitos de carne and loved it! Of course wealways get horchata for drinks! The BEST horchata in south Florida! Read more

This is a great place to spend a Friday or Saturday night great service, drinks and music. The chips and salsa are always... crunchy and with the right vegetable balance. The fish in the ceviche always feels fresh and the tacos I tried the carne asadatacos and were very flavorful..... Read more

Overall, I enjoyed the meal. I forgot what I ordered here, but it was pretty good. I think I posted a photo of it. Anyway,... there wasn't a wait (we went on a Monday evening) and the staff was very nice. The prices were not too bad and I'd say that itwas worth it. One of the interesting things was that the restaurant streamed music videos on this large projector on one of thewalls. I really enjoyed it when they streamed the older songs. For example, "La Hielera". This is a different culture from myown but the music was great. I don't think I've dined at many establishments where they stream music videos on a largeprojector. It's an interesting set-up and I think it fits nicely with the atmosphere. The restaurant itself was very 'cozy'and located in an OK area. All in all, not a bad dining experience and it's a place that I wouldn't mind visiting again. Read more

Best rice and beans I've ever had! The Karaoke was fun and loud. Don't come here if you're looking for a quiet night out.

We and our crews have been eating here for 22 years coming in and out of Ft. Lauderdale running yachts and it's always great... food and friendly service. The only thing that changes is the size of the muted TV with soccer. Very clean and serves foodquickly. I have no idea who rates it poorly for South Western Mexican food except maybe competitors. I always get the savorysteak Tampiquena and my wife usually gets the Mambo Combo. Update January 1 2022: 10 stars again! lol I won't add anotherpicture as we always get the same 2 things. This time lunch here was to celebrate successfully sailing a 1,000 miles from theChesapeake to Ft. Lauderdale leaving in winter gales to deliver another yacht. Well worth the sail, always perfect and friendlyservice even on the first day of the year. Read more

I rated you guys 4 because I've had better food. The cheese was super bad on my nachos, the cheese was disappointing. It was... movie theater cheese. Besides that negative everything else was super cool and super different. They have people performing in arestaurant. Be careful because when they are performing it is very loud they have a huge speaker in. And the meals aredelicious. Read more

Casual come as you are type restaurant. Excellent authentic Mexican food that reminded us of similiar places when we lived in... Texas. Generous portions and the (original, lime) margaritas were very good as well. A couple of servers spoke english too. Read more
