Boated in, docked in the marina, and had an awesome meal with family. Great staff, great food, and an absolutely amazing... ambiance. The ambiance and backdrop absolutely can not be beat. The place is a gem. Part of our goal living a boatinglifestyle is so we can discover new places like the Glen Haven from the uniquely different perspective of coming in from thewater. Read more
Drove out for a terrific breakfast with a spectacular view of the lake! Breakfast was delicious and I don?t know what seasoning... was in the home fries, but we both loved the savory taste! Wait staff was efficient and courteous. Just a perfect way to spenda Sunday morning. The farmers market outside is just a bonus! Read more
The nicest person at this restaurant was a cook named Alex who brought out our food after something was wrong. Our server did... not know the menu, the specials, or how to use the system. We waited for 45 minutes for a few salads and burgers. When we saidthat the salmon was blackened but it we had asked for a plain salmon, the server said ?I can try but I don?t know...? as if itwas a major inconvenience to them. We then waited 20 minutes for a new salmon. It took a half hour for our bill.. we were thentold that our bill had been merged with another table and that is why it took so long. If the employees were kind or apologetic,it would have made all the difference. But the management response was lacking. She was obviously overwhelmed and came off asrude and as if she didn?t care how our experience was. An apology goes a long way. As someone who used to work in the serviceindustry, perhaps some training is in order. We will not be recommending the glen haven to anyone. Read more

Go to the north side into thevillage or head down into Homer or Cortland and save yourself, and your taste buds, a trip. Hockey puck hamburgers, less than1/3, even 1/4, pound portions of pulled pork, there is ALWAYS an issue or screw up with our order, and they are ALWAYS out ofstuff on their menu... It's not the GH of old. It has moved away from fine dining to more of a family friendly waterfront destination with burgers and... BBQ. That said they do a good job for that category. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Read more
Freaking phenomenal! First time here and it impresses! I mean the location is second to none. Absolutely beautiful backdrop to a... laid back but also upscale dining experience. Wait staff is attentive without being overbearing. Food is creative while beingapproachable. 11/10. Will be coming back! Read more
One of the best meals I?ve had! Their Bison Meatloaf was fantastic, super hardy and and tasty. The squash and quinoa was... amazingly well done and outstanding to enjoy. Drinks and service were also amazing. I would strongly recommend eating here! Read more
