Two Sisters is a mainstay of Homer and hopefully always will be. Their ham & cheese savories, chocolate rolls, and sticky buns... are absolutely to die for. At the moment they have discontinued indoor seating and espresso, which is the only reason I givethem four stars, since their indoor environment was absolutely lovely and the loss of it definitely takes away from theexperience, but hopefully it opens up again soon and I can update this review! Best bakery in the state. My tomatoe fennel soup was loaded with blended veggies - was so filling & healthy served with part of... a soft fresh sourdough roll. The baked apple dessert (an open pie?) was stuffed full of apples and not too sweet. There arelines and limits, I hear, on number of treats you can buy....understandably as everyone wants to load up on as many bakery itemsas they can to share with others back in Anchorage. Such a wonderful bakery! Sandwiches, soup, and baked goods are all tasty. Definitely try the sticky buns!!! Best part of all?... the workers are pleasant and it is very reasonable prices. If in Homer don?t miss this place. Oh and they are really efficientwith their line so if you see it out the door don?t get scared away. Read more
Stopped at this cute lunch spot on our way to Seldovia. Friendly crowd and service! We ordered the BLT, chicken sandwich and... tomato veggie soup plus a cinnamon roll and rhubarb danish. All were amazing! Read more
Get there early. The queue starts well before opening. Rhubarb danish was excellent. One of the best. Muffin (vegan) was... rather dry. Looking forward to my sticky bun and apple galette!!!! Read more
Oh, we love 2 Sisters. They're our favorite place in town, a family tradition for locals and guests. They're a must visit in... Homer, even when Covid limits their hours and menu. Delicious food. Wonderful folks. Great soups, great sweets, sandwiches.The chocolate bread and sticky rolls are delicious. Arrive early, before they run out of your favorites. Read more
The food is always delicious and consistent. I like that the soups are always changing. It's a bummer that there's no indoor... seating still, but the outdoor space is nice and inviting with little blankets and everything. Read more
