We almost didn’t dine here because of some bad reviews. So glad we did! We own a fine dining restaurant and The Chart Room did... not disappoint. From my well done martini at the bar to our equally executed rockfish and halibut entrees, everything was tastyand fresh. The service was exceptional and extremely friendly staff. We even bought a couple of logo etched wine glasses to takehome to remember our trip to Homer. Read more

45 minutes before my reservation I get a call asking to move it to the next day and I declined. 30 minutes before our... reservation they call to cancel. As many of you know a lot of places recommend reservations for dinner. I made thesereservations two weeks ago. Due to larger groups coming in they can’t accommodate a party of two. Bump the lower paying groupsis their philosophy. Read more
They don’t have online reservations set up and nowhere on their website does it say they require phone reservations which made... us assume we could stop in and wait for a seat at the bar, come to find out they are only serving drinks at the bar and turnedus away, the place was empty…if you can’t find staff just say so but don’t try to say you’re a nice restaurant when youare seating 12 tables especially during high season. Wait staff very friendly/professional, all around food was tasty. Atmosphere delightful with soft music. The view of bay was... the bomb. When my host made reservations she left our requested time on voice recording no one would answer phone. They had norecord of call x2. Seated anyway. Worth the visit! We went for dinner and the food was great as well as the service. Their deserts. Mac & cheese and fish and chips are... wonderful. They did have a limited menu because of staffing issues in the kitchen. I appreciate that they let us know rightwhen we arrived that they only had two kitchen staff and had limited options. They did the responsible thing and cut their menuback so quality wasn't sacrificed. They also only took on as many guests as they could serve with limited staff. Just makesure you make a reservation, if you just walk in you may have to wait even if you see empty tables. We've been to anotherrestaurant on our vacation who despite being severely understaffed took on too many guests and didn't change the menu. Good food Great breakfast Service is really good Decent price Awesome views of the ocean and the snow mountains in winter! Tried... every dish on dinner menu and most dishes on morning and lunch menu, every dish is awesome, what I like most is the king crableg , it’s cheap consider the size of it and the deliciousness of it. People are really friendly and kind. It gets reallycrowded in summer, so I come in winter. Besides there is no such view like snow mountains and ice floating on the ocean insummer. I ate breakfast here the other day. Being from the south I consider myself a biscuits and gravy conisour. I have the biscuits... and gravy while my husband had the pancakes. While the gravy is NOT traditional southern gravy it was still good. We love ourfood. The staff was so friendly and the view seeing the sun come up over the mountains makes breakfast magical!
