Absolutely amazing food! The owner always uses the freshest ingredients, often locally sourced. The food is fresh, affordable,... and filling without being heavy. I have never had a bad experience or bad food from the Dandelion. My only complaint is that Ican't grab a burrito or tacos during the winter. Read more

Great stop today. Fast service right after they opened. They made a special kids quesadilla for us that my kids loved. I loved... the taco bowl without the beans. Sauce was yummy. They put out a bubble machine for the kids to enjoy. Read more

Best darn taco chicken salad I've had yet. Went without the beans to make it low carb/keto friendly.

Best veggie taco I have ever had! The bubbles made me smile, and the owner was generous and kind.

I lived in Homer for three years. From the time she opened in the spring until she closed in the winter, I ate at Dandelion at... least three times a week. My favorite is the Lion Burrito with Pineapple Habinero (hot) salsa and Triple Garlic sour cream. Sometimes I mixed it up with the Chechaco (normal) Tacos--order two--or the Rice and Bean Bowl. If sirloin tacos or PorkCarnitas were available, I tried to be first in line. The Chipotle Sour Cream is her own concoction, it goes on everythingunless you request otherwise, and it gives Dandelion its signature taste. That, and the fact that Tocia is the only one whowill touch your food. She takes pride in your food and puts her heart into it. And the price can't be beat: you get a lot offood. This is especially true with the Rice and Bean bowl and the Burritos. RB Bowl is over 2.5 cups of rice and beans toppedwith fresh, grilled veggies and salsas. Add chicken and pureed avocado if desired. The burrito is about a pound of heavenrolled into a flour tortilla. It can get messy if you add extra sauces and avocado, but you'll love licking your fingers soit's not a bad thing. Unless Tocia makes her lightly sweetened hibiscus tea, there are no drinks. If she does, grab a cupbecause it runs out pretty quick. But coffee, canned soda, and Italian sodas can be purchased at the Washboard nextdoor. This is a cash only venue, but the ATM is located in the Washboard Cafe & Laundromat or across the street at Uncle Herbs. Outdoor seating is limited but the Wasboard also has indoor seating at their Cafe. On Wednesday and Saturday, it is a greatpairing with your foray into the Farmer's Market, located nearby and across Oceanside Drive. Two of the local breweries arealso within walking distance: Grace Point and Homer Brewing Company. If you're visiting Homer, this is the one place to eat tosay you had the Homer experience. It is unique to Homer. If you live there, I'm not telling you anything you don' Read more
