My granddaughter who turns eight wanted to have her birthday party in her favorite pizza restaurant Palumbo's. But when my... daughter went to make arrangements for this for my granddaughter and a few of her classmates she was told that she couldn't havethe party there because all the children would drive other customers away. As a family we normally eat there about once a weekbut after this incident our family will be taking our business elsewhere. My granddaughter asked me why the owner wouldn't letus have the party there and I told her that's what greed does you'll learn that in life. My parents went here for their 33rd anniversary dinner in November 2022. They were not treated well after pointing out a $4... ?surcharge? for garlic and oil on their final bill. After waiting 45 minutes for them to fix the receipt and remove that extracharge (an extra charge for ingredients??), my mother asked again about it and a guy was very, very rude to her. I have been meeting my boyfriend halfway between where we each live Wednesday nights for the last year and we finally visited... Palumbo! We both agree that it is our new favorite and go to meeting place. The staff was personable and the food delicious. Hebrought home half of the eggplant parm because the portions are that big. He is a chef, and he rarely brings home any leftovers,so this is a compliment. I had a very good rice ball cooked differently than I have ever had before.
